My first love and I reconnected a few years after we seperated. We were in different parts of the world at the time, I forget exactly where. We chose a date in the future we promised we would reconnect and start over. A spark of our once profound love and connection till burned in each of us. We would each travel to Amsterdam where we would reconnect be together again. That was a long time ago. Not sure why it never happened. Seems like this song was wrote about that time of my life.
