Fun fact, those bandage lenses are also used in humans. I've had them twice for corneal abrasions. They are amazing, just instant relief from no longer having that rubbing.

I think and hope Heidi's owner should contact all of the owners except for Dr Scott and his sister-in-law to notify them of the condition that Heidi has so that all 6 puppies can be tested for the hip condition at least that is what a smart breeder should do with any puppies they breed but that's my opinion on Heidi's owner and that Heidi's parents should never be allowed to ever breed again so no other puppies have future bad hips or at least Heidi's parents should be tested for genetics hip issues

I agree on the part of the fact for a breeder needs to do dna test, but I don't think owner is doing dog breeding as a business so i dont think it should be hold against her. But if she knows the other puppies are going to be breed then yes she should contact the owners. But I don't think small mixed white dogs are getting a lot. But as dna goes, the other puppies are probably good and this one needed it because she got the bad luck of the draw. Because it's part of the breed that they tend/prone to getting because that's the pool of the genetics that they have to draw from for small white dogs. Which is why people always say to research the dog you want to get and what problems they could possibly develop with age or go wrong.

Good breeding practices would have prevented this… there are tests that can be done on the parents to avoid these conditions… mating a male and a female “just to have puppies” can be devastating for all concerned😢

I think Marcus needs some training for that temperamental Frenchie. Clearly that mutt runs the show. Never a good thing. Glad to see Heidi doing so well, and thrilled the kittens surgery turned out so well.

In humans its called avascular necrosis. My brother had to have both hips fully replaced and will need his shoulders replaced as well due to it
