By now, Jan 2025, it far exceeds half a billion dollars (that's 500 million for you marines). Federal flood insurance can pay to rebuild - but that ain't aid, that's from insurance premiums. FEMA provides TEMPORARY emergency housing aid (some money, some trailers). Feds are paying the fire fighting costs in California, not house repairs / rebuild. Is it against MAGA rules to do research on your own?

An actual case a few years ago: All houses were burned down in an area except two, reason: one veteran and one police refused to evacuate, they wet the outside of the houses and surrounding area, and put out any burning things from wind immediately with a water pipe in hand. 2. House fire is important, but mountain fire is not important, it is unreasonable and overreaching to interfere with nature, and also waste resources on house fire prevention.
