@@paulhoward908 Yes but not just from these exercises. The key is opening up the hips and groin. This one helped me tremendously - www.yogapedia.com/definition/7408/namaskarasana When you breathe in push the hips apart with your elbows and when you breathe out pinch the elbows with the knees (hold each one for a count of three). Aslo add this one and you will be able to do full lotus in no time - yogainternational.com/article/view/reclined-hero-pose Namsate.

I was able to do full lotus but my knees were still concerning me, so I stopped. I feel like personally for me atleast, padmaassana shouldn't be attempted without some professional help.. one can really mess ones knees up with this...

That shit literally works so well!!! I make improvements more or less every day!!! I think you don't even need to take a day off and can practice daily hence these are very light exercises when it comes to the muscles and so the tissue does not need a whole 48 hours or sth. To recover like it is with weight training!!!

so doing this for only 5 minutes each day will be enough... I will start tomorrow, allready did yoga today, but this seems more effective... thank you ! Will let you know how it works. If I reach quarter lotus in this month Im allready more then thankfull ! Meditation puts lots of strain on my legs and lower back now as Im rather stiff.

You got it wrong, Yoga is not for flexibility. You might get some flexibility while doing Yoga, but this is not what it is about.
