She sounds illogical and underprepared with arguments whereas he is strongly logical and straightforward. Why is Kashmir not connected with Maharashtra election politics. BJP is fighting congress which has joined hands with strongly pro-secessionist Muslim groups receiving support from Pakistan in Kashmir. These are anti India pro article 370 secessionists. We need one country, one people, one set of laws - anything else is unacceptable to Indian citizens. Indian citizens want one country for them, the majority happens to be Hindus. Indian citizens are demanding a good, strong nation, not Hindus. Are you saying Indian Muslims, Indian Sikhs, Indian Christians, Indian Buddhists do not want a strong nation? Why should we separate politics and religion Smitaji? Why? Just because western ideology and their secularist ideas say so, is that it? Our hindu culture and history does not support that because in all Indian Royal palaces of past, there was a close relationship between politics and religion. Most of the courtly advisors were both advisors in politics and religion. Think about Bhismapitamaha, Dronacharya, Kripacharya or even Chanakya. We have our own values, culture and our own ideology. Just because you and I and many other middle class children went to public school and learnt western ways and ideology, it does not mean that we have to follow it like brainwashed zombies. We have to look at our own history too.There is yet another reason in the Indian context. If your opponent (the Islamists) follow their ideology where the religion and politics are not only mixed but inseperable then you have no other choice then to follow your own ancient ideology to counter them. You can not deny (I hope) that Islam is both a political and a religious force and this combination has been used very effectively since the 7th century. We are actually the forgotten generation (that forgot its past strength) that has finally decided wake up and play the same game that our opponents from the 7th century have been playing. If the Islamists dont like our ways, they can go to their Sharia country of Pakistan and Bangladesh that they were given in 1947 by dividing India in to a hindu India and a muslim Pakistan, both East and west. These muslims in India have overstayed their hospitality.
