[Devfest Lille 2024] Are you ready for the European Accessibility Act Enforcement in 2025?

In June 2025, if your app doesn't meet the accessibility requirements detailed in the European Accessibility Act (EAA), your company could face penalties or fines.
That's a scary statement, right?! Well, don't panic!
In this talk we'll go over everything you need to know, including:
- which types of companies are required to meet this deadline,
- what official documents exist,
- what success criteria you have to meet, and
- what exactly you need to do to your mobile (iOS and Android) applications to get them into compliance before the deadline.
By the end of this talk, you'll feel confident making a plan for your team to reach compliance before June 2025.

accessibility is a human right!! that we just see it as a thing we are legally obligated to comply with is a bit sad... everyone should spend some time talking with the different ways people with different disabilities use software. there is no way you won't learn at least one thing or two
