తెలుగు థియేటర్లలో అతిపెద్ద హాల్ గా దేవి థియేటర్ ప్రత్యేకత కలిగింది. వారంలో అత్యధిక వసూళ్లు తెచ్చిపెట్టే థియేటర్ గా రికార్డ్స్ సాధించింది దేవి. ఈ సినిమాలో సౌండ్ ఎఫెక్ట్స్ కోసం మేము 1980లలోనే ఎంతో ఆసక్తి చూపే వాళ్ళం. ఈ థియేటర్ లో కనిపించే స్పష్టత (visual గా) శ్రావ్యత (clarity) మరో చోట ఉండేది కాదు. తమిళ dubbed మూవీ అర్థరాత్రి (రాధిక, మోహన్) సినిమా కేవలం ఆడియో స్పెషల్ ఎఫెక్ట్స్ కోసమే 100 రోజులు ఆడింది. ఆ తర్వాత అన్వేషణ, సింహాసనం వంటి సినిమాలతో దేవి ఇంకా పాపులర్ అయ్యింది. డాల్బీ వచ్చాక ఇతర థియేటర్స్ కూడా ఆడియో కి కాస్త ప్రయారిటీ ఇవ్వడం మొదలైంది. అలాగే హైదరాబాద్ లో ఎయిర్ కండిషన్ థియేటర్లు రామకృష్ణ, దేవి, సంతోష్, మహేశ్వరి ఉండేవి. ఫస్ట్ డాల్బీ థియేటర్ కిషోర్ (నారాయణ గూడ), తర్వాత తారకరామా, సంగీత్, దేవి ఇలా ఏర్పాటు చేసుకున్నాయి. అయితే దేవి గురించి చెప్పాల్సి వస్తే, ఏ క్లాస్ లో కూర్చున్నా ఎంజాయ్ చేయగలం. కాకపోతే middle బాల్కనీ నుంచి అయితే హాయి. ఇటీవలే థియేటర్ లో స్క్రీన్ సైజు తగ్గించారు. ఇదివరకు imax ను తలపించేలా అనిపించేది.

I Love Devi Sudershan theatres No Doubt. But Real History Sandhya Theatre Di. 👌👌👌Sandhya is also a Huge Theatre Just Like Devi. Infact In RTC X roads Initially Sandhya 70mm was the Most Technically advanced.But In Recent times like in Past 15yrs Devi and Sudershan Have been Ruling the X roads. Sandhya was the First theatre to have DTS in RTC X roads.

Best Engineered Theatre is Sandhya 70mm in RTX X Roads.With A proper proportional with width length and height. Devi is Wide and Tall ,Sudershan is narrow and Lengthy. But they are good ones for sure. Sudershan 35mm came in to light only Afr Okkadu and Later Pokiri. Go look at What movies ran in it before that.No where it was know for sound in 1990s. First DTS theatre in RTC X roads is Sandhya 70mm later Odeon Delux and Later was Devi, Sudershan. First DTS Telugu Movie is Master Which played the First DTS movie in Entire Hyd.People came from places to watch the First DTS Telugu movie master in Sandhya. Whole Lot of Telugu Big Hero Hits were of Chiranjeevi in Early and late 90s and also 2000s. Sandhya 70mm was the theatre which screened all Chiru movies and was the most famous. Iam Just writing facts without Bias,please don't unnecessarily fiddle arround.

దేవి 70 mm లో నేను 1982 లో మేఘసందేశం చూసాను.నేను మీరు చెప్పినట్లు upper balcony కి వెళ్ళాను.ఇక్కడ ప్రత్యేకత ఏమిటంటే projector focus తెరమీదకు కింద నుండి వెళ్తుంది.అది కట్టిన కొత్త లో అనుకుంటా.అది సినిమా హాలు లా లేదు.ఇంద్ర లోకము లా ఉంది.

Sangeeth 70mm was a Proper 70mm and Only Sangeeth screened the First 70mm in AP.With Arround the World. Later it was Devi With Simhasanam with Cinerama Westrex 6Track Sound System. Sholay is Infact a Cinemascope Movie with Stereo phonic sound.

Sir Devi 70mm is Not an Air-conditioned Theatre it's an air-cooled Theatre. In RTC X roads Only Odeon delux was Air conditioned. Old Sangham theatre was Air-conditioned(Sri Mayuri)later Mayuri became air-cooled. In Secunderabad Sangeeth and Natraj were Air Conditioned.Also Plaza Theatre was Air conditioned. In Kachiguda Kumar 70mm Maheshwari Parameshwari were Air-conditioned. In Abids Ramakrishna 70/35 were Air-conditioned In Basheer bagh Skyline 70mm was Air-conditioned

Don't even compare devi and sudarshan with multiplex. It's an insult to devi and sudarshan. Multiplex can't match aura, audio and video of devi and sudarshan. Multiplex only provide you things which are not vital for movie watching. Maybe, Prasada large screen comes close. No other multiplex can match devi and sudarshan. Be proud and we are thankful to you for keeping these theatres running
