In this I interpret the verses of poet Papanasam Sivan who describes the Goddess Devi as the one with fish eyes residing at Madhurai. The poet says Oh Devi you are my only support ( bless me). Born as a result of great penance of King Malayadhwaja & Queen Kanchanamala. You grew to be the prettiest of all in the the universe and you stole the heart of Lord Shiva /Sundareshan. You are revered by Goddesses Saraswathi and Lakshmi. I salute you Devi who supports the growth of nectar like three branches of
