I wonder if we can get our hands on the early build of this game. In the early trailers of the game dantes outfit is way different from the retail and dantes sword is different along with his devil trigger and some boss fights and appearances. Also, the city looked way bigger and different along with the village.

High poly rebellion sword looks cool. The High Time does look rough and simple looking animation, but somehow works. Also, instead of the retail version where the lightning effect is white when you go into DT and attacking, it's actually blue lightning effect like DMC1 Alastor lightning effect in this early build, which i think are better in my opinion instead of generic white.

@@KamiKazeD no, DE is literally the definitive edition of playing the game, the early build is an incomplete glitchy mess, more so than the actual game, kewl and all but it’s a beta release for a reason

the beta build had better camera angle, better part of the map, better sound system and the bosses apparisions were different and on different place, also the beta build of the game had better physic than the final retail, also the intro of the beta build was different and to me better than the final retail one @@adonicetrig8908

Also its not because a game is on a beta than its always not as good as the final retail, take resident 4 for example or hell Alien Colonial Marine you know there is a lot more beta games that are better then their final retail ones, as for DMC2 a lot of cut content, and also graphics sacrifices because the PS2 wasnt powerfull enough at the time, also 6 months of dev only thats a miracle the game was still playable, reminds me of DOOM on 3DO well too bad where the music is the absolute best amongs any ports of DOOM its also the most unaplayable version of it.@@adonicetrig8908
