Gameplay is 20% faster when Turbo mode is on. :)

Just wondering: back when I played this, the only taunt I managed to get was Dante saying "Come on, wimp". I didn't know how to trigger any of the other taunts. Same story with Vergil. How did you do it?

The higher the style rank is the more likely you'll get a different taunt.

I just finished Devil may Cry 3 on Normal difficulty, my average rank was B on almost every mission. So, my question is should I attempt to get all S rank on easy/ normal difficulty? or is it more easy to get S rank on 'Heaven or Hell' difficulty?

poke mongo You should attempt to get an S Rank on every mission on Easy mode and then move to Normal mode then to Hard mode etc. getting an S Rank on every mission in heaven or hell is actually the most difficult even more difficult than S Ranking all Missions on Dante Must Die mainly because it’s really hard to even get a B Rank for Red Orbs and Stylish because all enemies die in one hit. You will need to perfectly master RoyalGuard in order to do perfect blocks and release which will easily rise your Stylish meter. Doing this will easily give you enough red orbs and Stylish points to get an S Rank for those two categories.

Yes I use DT explosion A LOT to the point where I never use regular DT. It barely heals you and doesn't even increase your damage output like the other DMC games. It may seem like it does cause you move and attack much faster but you don't. :)

stupid question, but could it be way harder in easy mode to get SSS style points cause of the less enemy hp?

It's harder to get SSS on easy mode than it is on higher difficulties since enemies die much faster at least on DMC 3 :)

@@Devil_Hunter57 ah thx, good to know. Thought i was just stupid or something xD Do you have a tip how to proceed with difficulties and ranks? Like should i play on normal, first,then hard,very hard and so on and after that starting to get S ranks? I really love the combat and finished 1 and 4 so far, but i was never at the point where i set goals to myself and I'm not sure when it's the right time for hunting S ranks :)

Use DT explosion since it rises your stylish meter immediately to SSS giving you lots of points, NEVER USE ITEMS!, and max everything out before attempting. Also start on Normal mode then move on to Hard mode etc. :)

0:06 What the easy GOLD OR YELLOW?

Gold Orb mode means that when you die you can continue as much as you want. If you have a gold orb and you use it you will be revived back to full health in the middle of the fight. Yellow Orb mode means that when you die you need a yellow orb to use a continue meaning you will be taken to the lastest checkpoint and any fight must be fought from the beginning. If you don't have a yellow orb then you will be forced to restart the mission all over again.

You do the attack-pause-attack string and then mash attack. It's called Million Stab if you want to look it up.
