Bro I'm not hating or anything, but honestly like for real Kyrie is not a good character. She is so boring and uninteresting. I recently played the DMC series from start to finish for the first time. Coming from the great story and characters of DMC3 to the boring plot and characters of DMC4 was a real let down honestly. The gameplay tho, gameplay is amazing! Definitely the highlight of DMC4. I love Nero's mechanics. Dante's style swtiching mid fight was introduced here as well and it's amazing, but sadly as I said, the characters and story is not interesting at all. The only part where I was interested honestly was when Nero got Yamato. I was so ready for some sort of Vergil material, but sadly they wasted the opportunity I feel like it. Also Trish and Lady were pretty absent in this. Like you have 2 well built up characters story wise from the previous games. Why not use them!? Trish and Lady, especially Lady are way better than Kyrie by a long shot. I hope you get what I mean x)

@@FireStarJutsu well Kyrie is just a love interest for Nero, not all Devil May Cry characters have to fight. I liked Devil May Cry 4, better than Devil May Cry 3 in my opinion. I like playing Nero and his devil arm was bad ass. I kind of liked the backtracking, it kind of prepared you for something different and you were playing as Dante. I know not everyone can like backtracking, but I loved it. I'm probably one of the only fans who hinted that Nero is Virgil's son and Dante's nephew. When he restored Yamato I hinted that he was somewhat connected to Virgil or the Sparda family.

@@JReed1985 Don't get me wrong, but I think actually a lot of fans predicted that Nero is Vergil's son. At least that's what I gathered these days. I don't know about when the game was released, but nice none the less. As for Kyrie. Does she have to fight to be a good character? No. But being a love interest doesn't mean being a "bad character". I mean for real. She didn't do anything! Just shout "Nero!". No character development and barely any dialog at all! Like make her do something to make me like her. I have literally no reason to like the character, because as I said, she barely did anything at all! Nero's "Red Queen" is absolutely sick! I love it! As I said I love the mechanics and I love the design too! Look to be honest, backtracking as much as I think it's part being an "unfinished game", it has some good while playing the game. I like how Dante just came and wrecked all the demons that you saw before with ease xD. It also served as the way to get Dante's Devil Arms from the gates. Okay that's cool and all, but just imagine if when you get to playing Dante, it goes for something like DMC5 where you go to all new areas. It will feel so fresh and add to that the amazing gameplay of Dante him self. Backtracking is not as much fun for me, because I already walked through these places and now you're making me walk through them again but backwards?!?! I just makes you feel like you're not progressing, because you're walking backwards!!! Look I forgot to mention this, but backtracking can be good in some games. Like the games that when you go back to a place that you visited you find the environment has changed like being destroyed for example, but here you're just walking the same exact thing. Like ffs do a different day and night cycle. Change a little bit, but there was nothing new. Sorry for the long comment. Thanks for reading. I hope you get what I mean. Kind of most love interests do, just scream the protagonists name and be someone who they have to save and protect. I remember in the first game there was backtracking, but it was fun because you had keys or magical items. Backtracking in the first game was more fun while in the fourth game just seeing Dante fight the bosses was fun and interesting, but going through the same levels was just playing the game over again and a bit of a cop out. That kinda feels like the point titans die then their spirits and or souls mutate into evil spirits known as demons and lucifer the fallen angel that's now Satan the devil and no longer a fallen angel (as in he used to be an angel but was casted away from the heavens into the abyss he would later on make his home he calls hell) is building his army in "hell" the point I think is that in the end times demons will turn into angels because they will remember who they were in their past lives half human half angels, the titans not all titans ate humans but because they were so big humans couldn't feed them enough they needed more food that humans couldn't lift themselves, it was as if they were like children, like they were only a year old.. and still developing just giantly then some of them started eating humans while most didn't the demons (regular evil spirits) are just lost titan spirits and or souls that have become demented and evil and have lost a purpose just because they lost their body's in their past life I believe those demons need a clear joy and a good heart of wisdom demons are disembodied spirits and or souls of titans and they are the symbol of rage, Hatred, fear, and pain in the end times I believe Jesus will turn those disembodied Titan souls that are now known as demons back into titans either that or he will make them into angels and or full angels, full blooded angels then satan will lose his "purpose" and thus his goals will shatter before his cruel heart, Jesus is love ❤
