with regards to your point about the story, this game is even after DMC2 according to the timeline given in DMC5's gallery. So not only does Dante have experience with Arkham's demonic ambition, he ALSO dealt with Arius (and the various demons and humans in the anime). So yeah, Dante being so flippant about the Order of the Sword is particularly egregious in a way I hadn't realized until this video. Great content!

Yeah that's right, they did clarify the time line when 5 released didn't they? As much as Dante is bland in 2, I kind of liked the thing they do with the coin. He pretends that his actions are dictated by this coin flip but the coin is double sided so he always ends up helping people. He's essentially messing with people while simultaneously giving the credit to this inanimate object. Thanks for watching!

If i not remember too well, the chimera when attach to a enemy can be shot down to desactivated for a few seconds, you can see the blades down and when activates again the blades return to move.

You are correct if you shoot the Chimera afflicted Demon enough, the blades will become inactive for roughly 17 seconds. While this is a good way to deal with the blades in isolation (One demon), it still inherits the issue I was talking about anticipating the blades. After 17 secs. the blade activate and attack you once again. You cannot refresh the 17 sec timer by shooting the demon. This means unless you can kill the demon in this time you will have to keep a mental note of the blades timer on the demons. It is doable is you are dealing with 1-3 demons; but I firmly believe that giving the player a timer to keep track of along with enemy movements/attacks is just too much. I did forget to mention the detail about shooting the demons though so thank you for reminding me.
