I think the reason why I like Dante is cuz - his DMC5 incarnation at least - he reminds me of my own father. He too never cared about what others think and just did his own thing and having fun doing it. So hearing you say that just…it just hits. I miss him but thank you for the reminder and for plucking my heart strings❤

Behind all the cocky nature, Dante is suffering. He lost both his parents, he was forced to fight his own twin brother, constantly supressing his demonic powers. I can't help but feel sorry for the poor guy.

​@@dregorerampin7439 Just because she LOOKS like his mother doesn't mean she counts, to him she's just a person with a striking comparison to her since she "Doesn't have her Fire" as to quote Dante from DMC 1. She is nothing like Eva, and didn't know her in the slightest because she was made by Mundus who also knew nothing of her. So without Vergil, there's nobody left who knows of his Mother. He has no family left to connect with when Vergil is gone, so he feels completely and utterly alone.
