Overall, pretty good for a remaster made somewhere within 2 weeks. A neat "loading" screen so that the players know what they just got themselves into, a new laser attack (that I presume was inspired by the "Nightmare Cuphead Vs. The Devil" animation), and an overall difficulty spike with mechanics to reflect the remix. But, with just everything else manmade, there's room for improvement. First, the laser could use a few more frames of animations. Making the laser comprised of just 2 unique frames oscillating back and forth really quickly, in my opinion, makes it look slapdash and rushed. Second, BF's parry animation is just not there. I tried slowing it down to 0.25x speed to make sure, and yeah, for some reason, BF just doesn't feel like throwing his mic sometimes for some reason (i even saw cuphead dodging a non-existent attack). This is probably a bug in the code, his animation just getting cancelled by his singing animations or just me overcomplicating something completely normal, but it's on you to check it up. Third, it's nice that you implemented Nightmare BF into this song, but aside from his Parry becoming a blue version of Cupheads Ex-Attack (would reccomend the attack be the same size as the original attack) and BF just overall looking more epic, there's not much of a noticable change difficulty-wise. It does seem to me that it costs 3 Parry charges to transform, so it should be worth it's cost. Since the player would likely already has their hands and eyes full on everything else, the new change should be passive. A few examples for that would be that certain playable notes on the chart becoming parry notes, damaging notes damaging less, or even disappearing all together, BF automatically reacting to attacks launched by NC, etc. Hope these little nitpicks of mine can help improve your mod, and have fun coding!

Oh wow, thank you for your feedback, very appreciated it, i will also provide you my answers to your questions/requests as well: First, the Laser: You do got a point that the Laser feel too instant, there are extra Animations for it but i set the fps for the Sprite around 80 or so to hide some bad pixels of the Sprite, the Artist does very well on this so i will consider re-set the Animation Secondly, the Attack and Dodge: Yes, i'm fully aware that the Animations don't play correctly, this is because there are no ways to Disable the Singing Animations for the Shooting Animation, since it depends on the Player's Action, so i cannot set crtain note as No Animation Notes like the Hadoken Attack, so i just had to dealt with it, the Animation do plays when they're not singing Thirdly: Yes, when Nightmare BF is present, you will gain extra Health on Note Hit, Fire Note, Hadoken/Roundabout, and Bullets dealt less damage or even half of the damage. And Nightmare BF's Hadoken is smaller cuz he is weaker than Nighamre Cuphead. And AutoDodging was once thought of but didn't make it in because that's cheap and too much Advantages for the Players, it still need to be challenging

Also, if you think that i spent 2 weeks Remastering this, then no. I spent the last 2 Weeks coding other Songs (there are like 7 different Devil's Gambit Remixes) and Bug Fixing. I only spent like few hours Remaking this Song so it's not that like Holy Good

I feel like this is already enough challenging but I feel like missing something , a charge bullet?The normal drains half of your health and the fully charged insta kill you , you can stop him by attacking when he’s charging , maybe events happening in the middle of the song like indie cross did?That’s all I can think of(However it’s perfect already , I’m very satisfied with this tbh)

Yes, this concept had been thought of, but the idea were scrapped since it's too complicated and not needed and thus were changed to a much more unique Health Drain mechanic. You will see when the Mod comes out

@@someguythatlovessrb2388 Extra Mechanics, yes. But Mechanic like the Dice has been thought of but it was too complicated to make, so this lead to the born of a Completely RNGed Mechanic Song as a replacement, it still keep most of the aspects like you said, but just very simple

Added super attacks for cuphead How it works: on cupheads side he will have a bar on the bottom corner when it’s fully green he is ready to use his super attack when he hits the next parry note when cuphead is about to use the super attack it will give the player 3 seconds to dodge the super attack if the player dosent the player does

I want a new idea for the dodges: Instead of most people having to dodge it, you still need to time it. If it is not perfectly timed, you are dealt a bit of damage, and depending on the attacks and their chances, status effects are not very likely to happen. (Since the fireball is yes, fire, rarely burns you when you still survive it.)

Ay real quick, I feel like you should of adding a warning to dodge before the lasers, the attack is WAYY to quick to react to, and will be hard to dodge when dealing with other hard gameplay. Adding a warning mechanism would really help

yes, but Devil's Gambit originally not supposed to have any Visual Warning, only Sound Queue, so we do the exact same thing for this mod as well
