It was Daichi's big "WHY" that got me.

Such a sad ending, yet I still feel it was the best choice (haven't done the other two endings yet). While they make a big deal about the hero not being able to return to that world...that's not entirely true. They didn't need to erase the memories everyone had. After all, Alcor was able to interact with humans despite being Polaris' sword. So...the player would, theoretically, be able to interact with people through Alcor as a messenger. Or, through the use of an enhanced JP's terminal (which Miyako would almost certainly know how to make). There's no requirement that those who gain an audience with an administrator fight them. Nor even to make it difficult.

No lie, I found this ending best. Gives me a Persona 3 feeling and it's so sad and bittersweet.

I took it to mean his godhood could never fully translate or inhabit the meager space-time of humanity, let alone the physical world. The protagonist simply becomes too vast to exist on that plane. Sort of like how God in Devil Survivor 1 never appears and merely has metatron to speak for him. You would need some kind of avatar spokesperson to transmit your will, but you yourself could not manifest because you're too big and powerful.

Think about it like this. In ds:rb Polaris and canopus don't exist in the same reality like our characters do, instead we meet them in a separate realm because their mere presence exceeds reality. They don't battle us in our world, we battle them in theirs because they simply exist in a higher plane that rules over the multiverse. When our character becomes the administrator they take that same role and therefore can't exist in the same world like before.

Human administrator was my fav ending, But along with Ronaldo's one, It feels to me like they could done more with the ending, Like, damn it I just fucking won Three wars for Humanity against Alien gods and sacrificed my self for the eternal peace, can I at last see them be happy?

Man, I really wanted Miyako as Hibiki's sword. Alcor was too nice to be sacrificed. And Miyako seemed like she could handle that role better.

i got this ending the first time i played record breaker, GOD THIS ENDING WAS SO WARM YET SO COLD, I CRIED MYSELF FOR THE WHOLE DAY. daichis big "why" and the things he called hibiki.... god those broke me down completely. best thing record breaker gave us was saiduq in a bunny hoodie😭😭 so bittersweet....

Did you know in some Digimon game, there is a female character look pretty similar to Alcor but with purple hair and glasses. I used to think its maybe Mizar human form but later I found out she is character from digimon series. And did you know Mizar and Alcor are known as twin star in astronomy.
