I always loved the pinch battle them. Those battle were always some of the noisest battle and stressful in the game. Demons everywhere, constant npc fights, the tense feeling of fighting against the clock while a horde of demons in-front of you. Demons and you casting mapview spells constantly and the team status thing coming up at the bottom of the screen and playing out what happened to someone. I've always noticed that the UI sounds play way more often and constantly with all the enemies and allies on the field. It really added to the cacophony of chaos that is a pinch battle. It really gave you a stark impression of how desperate the struggle is.

Really wish Devil Survivor 3 would be 1. A thing 2. A main game, like, give it the Persona treatment basically, this series was dope and serves the uhh "upgrade"

While I would prefer less emphasis on Social Links/'Slice of Life' you see in Persona and more on the psychological horror from the original series, ANY form of Devil Survivor 3 would be acceptable at this point.

I always saw Ds as a middle ground or balance between Persona and main line Smt (specially Smt 1). But adding more Persona-like things to Ds IMO will not suit well. I am currently playing Ds2, I'm in late game and the end game, and I did not like the fate thing with the character. I do like the individual percks that it gives but really it just felt like a copy of social links, a bad copy, because most of the side stories just felt like filler and few were really interesting. Add to the fact that for the start to middle of the game the tension is really low compared to the first one. But with all that said, I still had fun with the peppy Persona-like vibes in game.

If devil survivor 1 and 2 had a stressful ost list: This song would be #1 on that list it hands down. You were made to feel like you and your party struggle to survive a hellish situation that meant either living for another day, or wind up becoming the demons next meal in the streets.
