There's actually a movie out more recently (2008) that's like this. Family goes to a cabin for Christmas and something is making the kids kill, like a virus. It's pretty good. It's called The Children.

Brad, I would love to see your take on the 1971 film, Bless the Beasts and the Children. It’s loaded with layered meanings, some of them VietNam War related, some having to do with what it means to be an outcast-sick or weak or nerdy, or gay (?)- and it absolutely broke my 11 year old heart, while simultaneously making it soar in triumphant joy. Bill Mumy starred, with Barry Robins, and Stanley Kramer directed. I’ve seen exactly no one reviewing it on KZbin, and it really deserves attention. Amazon Prime has it now. You are the ideal reviewer (in my humble opinion). Please give it a look. I have no Patreon money, but I do plan to buy your movie when it’s released. 😻

@patrickstonecrusher8 ай бұрын
Hello Person from five years ago! I love this movie and l think l know the awnser! The movie implies that the army kid has a history of violence and starts saying how someone "would make a good paratrooper" before attempting to murder them. The nun, having stayed at the same Children's Asylum (coming soon to Adult Swim) knows this is a warning sign and is concerned for the safety of the only good adult in the film, Lennie from Of Mice And Men. I hope l could help! Responding to comments from five years ago isn't weird at all!

13:13 As long as that guy only looks like Gerard Depardieu, because from what I've saw and read about him on sets, he can be quite an impressive asshole. I recall something about him pissing outside the toilet cabin in a plane a few years ago, did it in front of random passengers because he couldn't hold it anymore. To be fair, when the body decide it's now, you don't have much choices, but there had to be a better way than that.
