Thanks for all the helpful videos. I would love to see a video of your shop set-up. Such a small space but so organized. Love it!

Hi Scott, I might just do that one day, I would love to have a nice purpose built spray room but there just isn't the space , I get done what I need to anyway with my setup so it works quite well even though it looks a mess 😊, cheers mate 👍

I love my Pro Lite and Pro Lite S. Thanks to Pete's earlier video's, I bought them both as my only hobbyist base/clear coat guns...in hopes of flat finishes. Thanks again Pete!!!

Hi Ray, They are still a very good all-around mini gun. They do everything well, they are reasonably fast for a mini, well made, have a good range of sizes and good with air consumption. In fact, for the air consumption they are and the speed with which they came work they are pretty much in a league of there own, off my head I can't think of another mini that offers both, good to hear your still enjoying them mate, cheers 👍

Excellent content Pete. Just the information I was looking for. I learn quite a bit on this platform, but many content creators are reviewing in such a way that is more hype and maybe like advertising, not objective though. The top 12 lead me to the CFM video and that lead me here and this gun seems perfect for my needs.
@peteshobbies5383Ай бұрын
Hi Mike, and thank you👍 These are very good all-around guns, good low air consumption, good build quality, and good performance. One thing I will say is try to use a hexagonal socket on the tip, I use a 1/4 drive one as the spanner provided soon starts chewing up the tip after relatively few removealls. Cheers buddy 👍

Hi Pete, well I wasn't expecting to see a video of this gun from you mate but it was most enjoyable so much so I want to get my old SRI ProLite out again😁I have two of these and the last time I used them they didn't seem to spray right so I think they might need new baffles as they are the original ones, after the ANI this was my second mini gun I bought🤓do you know where you bought your baffles from mate🤔 Anyway mate the little ProLite S did a great job on the base and clear and the finish is spot on plus I do like the colour it must look a lot better in person👌have you done a comparison between this gun and the DV1S Pete I can't remember but it would be interesting🤔👏cheers Boss🤭👍
@peteshobbies53836 ай бұрын
Hi John, A comparison between this and the DV1s has been done but isn't up yet. Having said that, the weather was very cold when I did it, so it wasn't a great help 😕 I really like this gun, and I always was just doing an air consumption test that made me dig this video out along with the AZ4 video. Both of them are very good on air and give good results. I get virtually all my parts from Sprayguns Direct. Here's a link to the Pro Lite S sealing rings, cheers, mate 👍. www.spraygunsdirect.co.uk/product/devilbiss-prolite-s-separator-kit-of-5-sripro-2-k5/

I recon it would be an interesting comparison, with all things being equal I would say the DV1S should win this on paper as I think the DV1S atomises the clear better but you never know🤔I hope you post it up when you can mate as I think it would be a close call👌 Thanks for the link Pete, I've saved them to my wish list I'm considering getting a new full face mask from them so I'll get them as well, I remember looking on ebay and my other suppliers but couldn't find any, of course I never thought of trying SGD🙄cheers buddy👍

Pete don't know I you've got one or not, but I recently picked up the ntools mini888 in 1.2 hte. I did so after getting the ntools 4000 and all I can say is WOW both guns are cracking good value for very little money.
@peteshobbies53836 ай бұрын
Hi Scott, I did a review of a copy of Sri Pro Lite 1.2. It's the same as the 888. It's sprays very well for the money. It's not as good as the original, particularly at lower pressures, but it does well considering the price, cheers mate 👍

I need another mini and have 😮been debating on this one and the Dv1. My coworker got the dv1 and loves it but the price is a little high
@peteshobbies53836 ай бұрын
Hi mate, The DV1 has finer atomisation, is slower, uses more air, and is more expensive, imo it's less of an all-around package than the Pro Lite S

Talking of small guns. I have a LPH 80 with a .8 needle. What route is available for me to get a bigger tip for it. Caps needed aswell. Thanks.
@peteshobbies53836 ай бұрын
Hi mate, It's probably not worth it, if you need a tip, needle and cap you are looking at about the same price as a gun

@peteshobbies53836 ай бұрын
Hi buddy, Yeah, I understand, but there is a good used supply around, they last very well and there's a 1.4 available that gives a larger pattern. The pattern is quite wet so it's not as slow as some small guns, the low air consumption make it a favourite with mobile SMART repairs, cheers buddy , appreciate the response 👍

Great review as always Pete! So is it a exactly same gun as SRI pro? Have you tried HV5 cap on this?
@peteshobbies53836 ай бұрын
Hi Mate, Yes, the Sri Pro Lite & Pro Lite S are the same. Just colour is different. I have used the HV5 cap, it uses more air, around 25% more and is a typical HVLP cap, so likes to be held a little closer to the panel but it works well, I prefer the TE5 though
