I used to DJ this kinda techno at illegals in Norfolk back then and Bush records along with Smitten records were my favorite labels, along with some Underground Resistance stuff by the masters Jeff Mills and Robert Hood. I'm 40 now and have stopped raving but know some youths that run illegals but if u watch them on KZbin they're just not as good, tunes aren't as quality, that happy vibe isn't there cos the drugs are different.....and they have to destroy everything - like smashing up barns, etc, the illegals I used to go to if u were one of the last 20 people there u'd be given a black bin liner and go around picking the rubbish up (which was great cos u'd always find lost money and bags of various goodies, lol).

​@@ianjacka636 Back when I started getting into techno I'd buy albums based on the label as I wouldn't remember artist or track names, Bush, Smitten and Stay up forever were always guaranteed to please. As for cleaning up, it was part of the scene to me just like looking after one another. Little actions to show respect and thanks to those making those good times possible. Parties like that had such a community vibe, you would feel safe and so the highs would be incredible with the absence of worry to bring you down.

Back for a 2nd night in a row to play. Plugged the headphones in this time. Can anyone remember a record on this label where the breakdown halfway through had this wick Latino sounding sample and then the beat just cuts straight back in. I used to have it, but made the fatal mistake of lending it out. Fucking with another man's/woman's vinyl is like a cardinal sin. I put it up there with shagging your mate's bird. THIS IS BANGING!! I sound big headed but I can still throw them shapes and am a great dancer, especially to D&B, lol.

In the days before social media made the underground illegal scene too accessible and big and ruined it. I quit them in 2005 when I had to take a knuckleduster to about 20 teens in my boot nicking my precious irreplaceable boxes of vinyl. OH THIS IS PROPER DIRTY NASTY GRITTY TECHNO!!! Fing great label. I got snubbed after the record stealing incident cos the knuckleduster was one of those with bolts on the knuckles and it put holes in a few cheeks. But there was 20 of them, probably with a blade on them and I had to just pile in to scare them. Some of those records were most of the Code Red collection on Drumcode which I brought from holland when I lived there, boxes of white labels. Underground scene is shit now in UK, CD mixers, ketamine, fighting, and destroying wildlife, and what we call in UK 'countyliners' coming. Great track but Robert Hood is best techno producer ever!
