音階がないデスヴォイスは一本調子になりやすいし、ギター・リフの音階が平坦で無機質なデスコアは輪をかけて一本調子になりやすい。 けれどもこのバンドのヴォーカルは七色のデスヴォイスとでも呼びたくなるような多彩な声色を使うことで、リスナーを飽きさせずにスルリと聴かせてしまう。 凄い技術だと思った。喉を大切にして活動をしてほしい。

This is honestly crazy to me. They have great production and talent. Basically everything to be a successful band in this genre they have. This video 6k views. Instagram followers 17k. They need to get their marketing pushed more to the west. Absolutely shocked that they have such low numbers. They need to get a tour booked in the US so they can get the recognition they deserve.

You think they need to visit the US to get the recognition they deserve? Do you think the recognition of their own country, or any other country doesn't mean anything? Look at literally every Japanese band who visits the US: none of them make any money over there. Tours in the US are ridiculously expensive and a band like deviloof would not fill major venues [looking at it historically, even when they book mostly small clubs with 300-800 people they won't even be sold out for most of a tour]. Buy their CDs if you want to show your recognition and love and if they do get on world Tour - which I hope and believe they will some day - don't think they 'made it' because they are visiting the US. They will come to make their fans overseas happy, make new experiences and promote their music but they won't make any money from it.

God damn, just when I thought this song couldn't get any heavier... This live version feels so much more raw but with excellent sound engineering. Even Keisuke's English parts are getting better with the intonations enunciated more clearly 2:41 definitely gave me chills. Love you guys!

What I really think is the cause these bands arent widely known abroad is cuz most of the bands or the labels (not sure) just seems to REALLY avoid it at all costs. Just look at Maximum the Hormone, they could be one of the top metals bands in the whole world atm (almost SOAD level), but u simply can't find live videos, fan made videos or even some official MVs, cuz their label strictly dont allow people to post shit about the band. They played at Hellfest and there isnt a single video that shows their perfomarce (probably their biggest performace outside japan), since they delete it almost instantly if u try to share. They don't even try to translate posts, tour announcements or barely communicate to western society. You can't find merch, musics aren't available on spotify or anywhere. It's just sad.

Keisuke pulling off those demonic possession vocals live is just insane. Do I want to know how much he has to take care of his throat to continue delivering those vocals without hurting himself? Leave it to Japan to produce bands that have the pretty boy VK aesthetic and then deliver some of the most crushing grooves and breakdowns you'll hear along with just plain inhuman drumming! One of the many reasons I find Japanese pop culture far more interesting and compelling than what we have here in the US.

This is INSANE I've known a bit about deviloof before, but seeing this is so impressive, all the different techniques that you can hear in the singing is crazy, its so impressive how they can just alternate like that.
