Idk I don't think it'd go as well as people seem to think Anime dante wouldn't be nerfed like gameplay dante so he would probably just breeze through everything (like he did in the one we have now)

I believe it's been confirmed that the show will take place pre dmc3 and that Dante, Vergil, and Lady are gonna be centeral characters. There are a lot of stories that they can pull from the dmc manga and novels like Dante and Vergil's first meeting as well as introducing characters who haven't gotten any showing or mention in the games like Enzo or Grue.

I can't stress enough how amazing this is. Devils Never Cry will forever be the best DMC song and my favorite among all the bangers. The rain, as well as the use of the HR/HM instrumentals is perfect. Well Done Mate! Now to grab a wooden stick and flail it around like rebellion while listening to this. Edit: I forgot to mention, that final explosion with the Jackpot was unexpected, but very welcome

i still say it DMC3 and DMC5 will always be the best DMC Games to me. DMC3 opened the door to a new style in the franchise and DMC5 brought it back to its roots and core.

The identical twins I love that that s how they actually should look like ! They look almost 100% identical in DMC3 with some differences in facial details and in 5 they look like each other a bit but they made Dante looks older I don’t know why !

Because Vergil just came from back from who knows, split himself, ate a qliphoth fruit and merged back. Also Dante isn't groomed because he's been in a coma for a month and he looks older because of it. In the flashbacks he is perfectly fine

Man no DMC game will ever top DMC3. It’s just so good with the variety in weapons and the music and cool bosses and good story and everything. Plus I just loved the ps2 era of gaming in general. Also I miss Dante and Vergil actually being twins instead of looking nothing alike and the general anime-esque aesthetic of the old days

Yeah, they did their best to merge varying styles, but parts of 5 are certainly not ideal aesthetically. I've actually never been a big fan of how Vergil looks in general, but it is what it is (just edit him to my liking/best of my ability).

I still have a hard time picking DMC3 or 5, but I'd definitely pick DMC3 when it comes to story since it really holds itself up so well without needing to read the novel or manga to get a full enjoyment of its story. In DMC5's case, 40% of its story is in the VoV manga, BTN Novel, and hell, even the DMC4 Novel since they referenced a few stuff in there and that shit kinda bummed me out and end up not fully satisfied when I first experienced the story. (Don't really care much about the retcons 5 changed tho, didnt mind most of em.)
