Born in San Francisco, then briefly relocating to Oakland as a child before finally settling in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of 14 - Devin “The Dream” Haney became a household name in the boxing industry at the very early age of just 21 years old.
At the age of 7 while living in Oakland, Haney picked up a special interest in boxing that would end up turning into a career that not only changed his life, but gave him the chance to truly change the lives of the people that he loves. He credits his major career wins, the blessed life he lives and everything in between to his hard work, his quick thinking and the most high that he praises.
In 2019, Devin became the youngest world champion in boxing where he attained the WBC
lightweight championship and since then has gone on to have a 30 and 0 record with a total of 15 of those 30 fights being TKOs. He also is a unified and undisputed champion, with every belt won in every weight class.

Im so glad Devin spoke on what he agreed to, in order to get a shot at the belts! How many fighters you know gonna agree to fighting on the other side of the world for only 22% AND agree to a mandatory rematch if he wins??? Only those who KNOW in the hearts they are capable of winning! People keep trying to say Devins ducking this guy or that guy, but i have yet to see him do anything of the sort!!! Devin aint afraid of losing to anyone and that inner confidence is partly why hes been so successful and remains undefeated! Shakur obv doesnt have that level of self confidence otherwise why wouldn't he say yes to Devins terms, especially knowing that if he won, he'd have no problem earning hella bank as the champ, just like Devin did! So if anyone is ducking, its Shakur!

People hate on how Floyd did it but overall he opened the door for fighter to get paid what they're worth. Floyd put in the work the same way Crawford did and Boots and Shakur is doing now. People forget Floyd was once the Boogie Man and he put in that work for over 10 years before he started calling the shots. These new cats jump the gun and want to call the shots too early and aren't putting in the work. Devin is doing it the right way. He left some big fights on the table at 135 but I get it, he was definitely struggling to make weight and he tried to make the Shakur fight. He has some good fights to make at 140.
