Yeah like even back when they claimed the AI passed the bar. They train the AI model by allowing it to take the test tens of thousands of times and be instantly graded on keywords or whatever. Then the final run when it "passes" they always grade something like, the average first time human test taker against the average score the AI got across 1,000 tests where they were allowed to drop all the attempts where the AI didn't finish the test. So every time they say these models are so much more powerful... It will be they spent like $3Bn to get a 0.3% increase on some minor heuristic and then publish it like it's the most amazing thing.
@dough-pizza2 күн бұрын
@@dieguscl @KevinJDildonik Although I get how they can skew the benchmarks to favour them my worry is if they are correct and it actually performs well. If the model performs as they say it does: 1. They can work on reducing the cost 2. Even if cost can't be significantly reduced it might be reduced enough to put an upper limit to a software engineers salary such that if an engg asks for more than "X" amount it's better to just get the machine to do it This is probably giving them too much credit as lying about benchmarks is in their best interest but still can't wait for Prime or Theo to do a hands-on with the model like he's doing with Devin
