@@macacohorripilante I think it's very underrated. It's similar structured like "One", it has the same qualities, and mindblowing guitarwork/solo from Hammet. But most people still would say it's blasphemy to compare this to "One". Nostalgia leaves you blind sometimes. Or deaf in that case.

@@zleggitt1989 Same here! I love the overrall sound of Magnetic and I think it was a mistake to make Hardwired a double album. The secong part of Hardwired starts of very good with Confusion but then is a drag till the great Spit Out The Bone.

Some people hate Metallica videos for distracting from their songs. You can also look at it the other way; Metallica videos are so strong they're capable of distracting you from the *incredible* music. All Nightmare Long is another prime example of this, other people are commenting the suggestion and it's a good one. So is Here Comes Revenge.

I just want say this.....keep in mind that the song and the video tells 2 different stories. The song addresses domestic abuse and when the victim hits a breaking point. For the video they wanted to pay tribute to the soldiers. They did an excellent tribute to the soldier and ptsd on the next album. React to "Confision". the video tells the story of the war going inside the mind

The song and the video are two different stories. On this albums release James said in an interview his sister had been domestically abused. He had wanted to write a song addressing that issue. Metallica also supports the military and the video pays tribute to them. 2nd half of the video with the broke down car shows how tense it can be trying to determine if the couple were a real threat or not. Because many cases just like that scene happened but the soldiers were tricked and set off an IUD or the woman could have had bombs strapped to her. The soldier took a leap of faith and the couple were genuine. The soldier looks up thanking God. As a vet, that scene brings tears to my eyes. Now do Confusion off the Hardwired album. It deals with PTSD and the video is excellent depicting it.

This song is rarely mentioned amongst Metallica greats, but it is. It has real chills not unlike The Unforgiven. They've done good stuff since, but in my opinion this is the last truly great Metallica song ever released.

Yo you should check out the live Cunning Stunts footage. Metallica "stage" the whole disaster. "During the performance of the song "Enter Sandman", the entire stage is set to appear to collapse and explode, with pyrotechnics and a technician (referred to in the extras as the "Burning Dude") who runs across the stage while on fire, as another technician swings overhead." then Metallica comes back out and play a very very striped down set in near complete darkness.
