Loves me some NCT! “Are all the videos this extravagant?” Oh boy. Yes would be the simplest answer, but there are levels. NCT has four subunits, so you’re in for a treat! NCT U is my favorite subunit. There could be anywhere from 2 to 10 members on a song; it depends on who fits the content. Pick any NCT track and it’ll be awesome. The title tracks in kpop are amazing, but the b-sides are where most groups shine. There’s a lot out there! Enjoy the journey, and don’t get too overwhelmed!

There's no other music industry like kpop. I love how it combines so many different instruments, production techniques, dances, and even languages from across the world. The craftsmanship of both the music and the videos is unmatched by anything else in my opinion. Of course that music is then recorded and performed by incredibly talented and attractive artists, making the whole thing just amazing. SHINee (pronounced Shiny) is from the 2nd generation of kpop. 5 members debuted in 2008, oldest was 18 and youngest 14 which is Taemin. Sadly in 2017 the lead singer Jonghyun died due to suicide after battling severe depression for years. Checkout Shinee’s recent comeback Don’t Call Me, Atlantis and Marry Me. I point out Taemin because in kpop he’s considered a top soloists (debuted as a soloist in 2014), he’s an amazing performer, unique vocals, considered one of the best or even the best dancer in kpop and he follows his own artistry. At 11 yrs old he saw Michael Jackson and he was hooked to dancing, so he self taught popping and locking. He has total control of every muscle in his body and his movements are also fluid (you’ll see). Check out his recent mvs for Advice, Idea, Criminal, Black Rose (The Stage performance), Want, Famous (Japanese) and Move. Have fun!

@@DevLethal Replay is their debut, but the song that changed my life was Dream Girl lol. I couldn’t see anyone but Jonghyun after that. I avoided SHINee for at least 2-3 years lol. My first kpop group was probably ss501 or tvxq. So I’d say start with View or or Sherlock as an introduction to them.

Kpop videos are basically known for their high production value in their videos. A lot of Groups have a “large” number compared to American groups, with groups varying from 3 to 23 members NCT 127” is a subunit made up of 10 members(9 in this video as one member is currently involved in another subunit) of the 23 member group NCT, which currently has the most members of any kpop group NCT as a whole has 4 units: DREAM: youngest members of the whole group and have a very fresh and colorful concept.( has 7 members) 127: group in this video, very experimental sound every comeback(10 members) WAYV: Chinese subunit of NCT, composed of Chinese members and performs in mandarin( 7 members) NCT U: rotational unit, meaning any member can change each song depending on its concept. In 2020, two new members were added making in 23, but they have not been placed in any units yet, so they have only been in NCT U tracks. About the English, NCT has 5 fluent English speakers, and have members all across the world(literally) who speak multiple languages as well. Another group to check out is EXO, a 9 member group, who are under the same company as NCT, and are basically their older brothers. They are the kings of vocals and are extremely talented. Some songs by them to check out are: TEMPO Love Shot Obsession Don’t Fight The Feeling.

I think NCT is the biggest group now since their concept is supposed to be rotational, they're 23 for now and the number's still growing (on their debut everyone was saying they were supposed to be 40 lol). But most groups don't have more than 13 members, at least from what I've seen. Can you check out Stray Kids' Thunderous too? It's lit.
