I'm like a proud mom when I see Nate's words bring people into the family. His music literally saved my life, I'll share my story with you in a few more songs don't want to spoil anything for you. NF is a prophet he makes people want to be better. And the mom is here 😏 I made it to the end. 😁

Though im very happy, as a therapist with BPD over 12 years, that Nate has shown you the beauty to live on.. heres something im not seeing connecting with people.. the only thing i think gets glossed over is the idea that this all began as a therapy for him growing up.. as we saw in notebad, his bestfriend.. but now to his surprise, he saw how heavily people out there could connect.. and thats great.. but to tell an already emotionally unstable and sensitive man that his music is saving LIVES? Its a bit of a burden to put on someones shoulders whos also “going through it”, the biggest message im seeing missed is its not fair to burden him with such heavy things. Telling us here, that his musics s place of solace, thats fine, but to say HE saved your LIFE.. think abt that.. you can tell us here, your friends, family, but never say that to Nate in those words, bc as he touches on this song abt taking 1000s of pics but feels like nobody knows him.. and we having no idea what hes dealing with after his shows.. his fans putting their lives on his hands.. He hasnt even learned to control his own mental health at the point of this songs creation. How can he be expected to fulfill the role to keep others alive when he just finished telling us hes not doing well in intro2? Hes barely holding his own life together.. for us, the fans, at the time of this song, we had to understand that boundary and i believe thats why his therapy session is consumed with others “drama” when in therapy, its supposed to be about only himself. Being few years older now and one of his biggest supporters for advocating MH, I’m able to finally get that point.. its a touchy subject im approaching with love, but i have to stress the importance of how scary it mustve been from someone dealing with depression and its pressure to also carry fans lives.. ❤️❤️❤️🗝🗝 i wish you good health and love.

@@sandrad2597 I do understand. I wrote this a while ago, so i had to reread it. And I’m not sure how much more cautiously I could approach the subject. I believe I approached such a touchy subject extremely carefully. If your hinting at “how dare you?” I’m really sorry you took it that way bc I tried as delicately as possible to approach it. And I also wouldn’t call something i spent so much time writing out as “calling you out”.. I clearly care. All I said was please understand the burden Nate himself is expressing coming from intro 2 into this song. He was falling apart at the time. I never said not to express your love and feelings. Your feelings are completely valid and I even share the sentiment as someone with BPD. I have su*cidal ideations daily that I have to walk a tight rope on 24/7 for the rest of my life to not fall again. Hence, my only real plea was to understand the lines that go unnoticed such as taking the 1000s of photos. Or the line abt people having no idea what he has to deal with after shows. Thats all. I directly said it’s fine to express such sentiments to us. The NF Family. But to also be wary of Nate, as well. Even in the end dialogue he states very clearly “this is a therapy for me”... I meant no disrespect and I’m not sure how else I could’ve expressed something I find very important in this track. I’m not shaming nor am I calling anyone out. Even now. I’m spending so much time trying to ensure I express myself as pure as I can bc I don’t know how else to do it more delicately. I care for Nate and his health. And i mentioned, at the time of this tracks release. This was his reality. And yes, as a therapist, I think its still a very important point because it parallels my connection to my patients. The difference is, when few tell me ive saved their lives. I have the opportunity to explain that “no, you saved your life, I showed you the light. But you did the hard work”... Nate doesn’t have that luxury. So he would carry his fans lives home when barely hanging onto just his own.

I stuck thru the whole vid and what’s crazy is that you mentioned you listen to the songs you heard on repeat and dude I can honestly say, I discovered his music a few years ago and it saved my life when I I was homeless and going thru a lot of bs at just 16 during the pandemic. Now I’m doing better although I still am going thru a lot with my mental health. To get by I listen to all 6 NF albums and his singles as well on the daily. I’m gonna be enjoying this ride once again with you as you put out more videos 💪🏼💯🔥

This is nothing on the level of what you went through but I have a similar story. I was a high school senior, and lost everything to the pandemic, including my final high school track season. It gutted me, for about a month I was depressed and anxious and then I stumbled on NF. in fact, just months earlier my friend tried to intro me to him but I refused to listen, man am I glad I did. Changed my whole outlook on life and honestly saved me. So excited for the rest of the reactions 💯 also I did!

Twenty One Pilots is one of NF’s favorite bands because they are also Christian and deal with tough subjects such as depression and suicide. Not one of their songs sounds alike but their lyrics can be very cryptic. A lot of people who follow NF also follow Twenty One Pilots.
