If you take Switch than your D/R setup will be activated in Normal mode only when you set D/R knob to 1. If you choose Pos 0 than regardless D/R knob position you will always have your current D/R settings active. PS: In my radio the D/R knob was inverted, I guess somebody put it upside down :) PPS: Obviously, once you have created D/R setup of AILE, ELEV and RUDD for POS 0, you can force this setup for any other flight modes, for example, by setting STUNT 1 to POS 0.

I made this video to post it in a forum discussion to ask for help when I was struggling to figure out how to program D/R on this radio. I was not trying to teach anything, I was trying to learn. Out of context where this was posted on an online forum, I can see why you question the purpose of the video. I should just delete this video now. It no longer has a purpose. I don't even own that radio anymore.

I've v120d02s with DEVO 7 and faced the same problem as you have. I tried to play with the setup and It seems to me like this

Ahhh! Copy! I've got that radio now, and I myself am struggling to figure this thing out too right now. The directions and available information is just HORRIBLE on this controller... Best of luck and thank you!

No problem. The Devo is actually a very nice Radio, if you ask me. It has some good advantages over the Devo 8, like being able to use a lipo battery, and more importantly, being able to read the LCD display in direct sunlight. The Devo 8 is horrible in direct sunlight. Once you figure out where everything is in the user interface, it will be easy and quick. Took me a while to figure out the Devo 7, but once I did, I liked it very much. Happy flying!

These are the exact same problems I have. I just wish I could get the Walkera stuff to bind to my DX7 Spektrum radio. I'd NEVER buy another Blade heli again... ever!

I have to say I love my Devo 7 despite it being extremely difficult to program it has a boat load of features. I bought a walkera V450 D03 the devo7 came with it what a deal since the actual radio cost about 120 dollars its really nice a super cool. But seriously not as good as a DX 6,7,8 futaba those radios are top of the line easy to program and worth every cent. I am still learning how to fly. The learning curve to fly collective pitch helicopters is extremely steep let alone understanding all those terms like pitch curve, throttle curve, dual rates ,exponential rates sub trim ,travel adjust, swash mix, blah blah blah then on top of it all you have to program all this on one of the world's most hardest transmitters to program.

Also, If you watch and listen at the end of the video I say "if anyone has an answer for me, that would be much appreciated." It's pretty clear I was seeking help, not trying to help or teach anything.

For what purpose was this vid for; what heli? Not sure about the 'reasons' of or by your choices but just in the sense of constructive criticism, I'm just not sure what you are trying to teach here...the Devo 7 is a POS maybe??

devo 7 has pretty much killed the sport 4 me. If not then the piece of shat walkera rodeo 150 is the finishing touch. Its like a bunch of 5 year olds took 20 different ways of programming drones and just mashed them all into a huge turd called betaflight where nothing is compatible with anything else. But even if you figure that out it wont matter because if one f king thing is set wrong then nooooo it wont work. You will not find this kind of idiocy with any other rc hobbies ,just crap that flies. My advice is to check out the xk brand or mjx bugs. I smoke these home built drones with just some different motors and props.Plus i spend my time flying instead of playing with settings all day. I would love to see how many hours these dorks waste with negligible unnoticeable tweeks.plus you have to relearn everytime u change stuff.taking longer to get better.
