Jerry is so well spoken, it's interesting to see that they can back up their concepts with actual interesting ideas that are not the run of the mill greed for wealth and fame. This is totally missing in music today. At least music that is popular.

Jerry makes an excellent point about sex, culture, and the mainstream. The "Whip It" scenario isn't particularly offensive, but it's a parody of what people hold sacred. Imagine the Budweiser bikini girls. Most people wouldn't complain about them. But now imagine them cleaning toilets... the mainstream would be terribly offended! But why? Surely the Budweiser girls need to clean their toilets just like everybody else. It's a juxtoposition of images which people do not want to associate.
