It boggles my mind more than a game of Boggle how you managed to accumulate all these killer synthesizers, samplers and drum machines/modules, RS. Must’ve been painstaking.

No, on the contrary. It was very easy because I was constantly asked if I wanted the synthesizers. Nobody wanted the old gear back in the day.. Times have changed.

I know exactly what you’re saying, RS. I’ve read in books and online how many people regretted they didn’t try grabbing a TV 303 boxes left, right and center when they fell out of popularity in the second half of the 80s. It would’ve been a better investment than Gold. The same is true for all those monsters in your collection. My father didn’t get that when I told him how much I wanted some of those same pieces in my teenage years, telling me I had to “get with the program” or whatever rhetoric he used. Imagine your old man telling you that you’ve got to get with it instead of the other way around. Neither of us knew that classic analog was enjoying the greatest Renaissance ever.

@@Shred_The_Weapon I couldn't have guessed it either. But I always buy anti-cyclically. I didn't have the money to buy new appliances back then. So I bought old synthesizers and restored them. I grew up in the former GDR. Nothing was thrown away there. Everything was always repaired and reused. I have that in my personality not to waste anything.🙌

I dig that most easily, RS. Then, I think about something I just commented to Doctor Mix a few days ago. What I told him is that if I were Rick Wakeman and became aware of his studio, I would probably give him €50,000 take the keys, lock myself in that space and come out with an album a short time later. I could see him doing the same thing at your facility.

Love it, just love seeing all these great analog synths playing together. Thanks for a nice uplifting tune. Sister very ill in hospital and it’s nice to come home to see a video by you with a great uplifting tune. Thanks for that, makes my day a little better. As always just love what you do and the great music you do on these beautiful machines. Fantastic musician. Still can’t get over how good your synths look. They look like new still. So glad people look after these timeless classics.
