Devon is known for his 200m more than 100m. As a Junior in high school, he took down the nations best 100m and 200m sprinters in Arcadia Invitational in California. In that meet, he set the all time record of 5 Gold Medals by one athlete. He got a gold in 110m hurdles, 200m sprint, 4x100m relay, Shuttle Relay and 300m hurdles against the nations best sprinters. His 200m time was 21.10 sec-as a Junior very early in the track season.

Devon's 12.84sec 110m hurdles in NY in 2022 was faster than all 110m hurdle Olympic Gold Medalist in its history. No Gold Medalist has run a faster time than 12.84 sec. McCleod who is a 13.0 110m hurdle sprinter has run 9.9sec 100m. A rule of thumb is that if you go under 13 sec in 110m hurdles, you are more than likely a 9.9 sec sprinter in 100m.
