Incredible! Seriously impressive to see people run this and to film so much of it too. I walked this route last year and hope to one day run it

I remember that run being one long walk in the mud! Haha great fun though.

I think this is on my list of events to do! Kudos to you both. Would you do it again?
@FilmMyRun Жыл бұрын
Hi Tom, yes I would do it again. They have now changed the date to later in the year so it's somewhat drier and less muddy. So I would like to have a go.

Well done, and a great vid to remember the hell of those bogs! I finished about 20mins in front of you after hiking the last 35km in some pain- you were not alone in walking across the finish line! Kudos for walking up the stairs in the cafe at the end, my family were at pains to point out how soft I was taking the lift...

Absolute respect to you, Richard and everyone else who completed that. I keep thinking about doing an ultra but a little voice in my head keeps talking me out of it.

Brilliant video. I’m doing the 100k from Chagford to Lynmouth this weekend and hopefully the whole route next year.

This route was incredibly muddy at the time of year we did it. Hopefully it'll be a little drier for you!

Amazing video. That looked so tough, considering when I have seen 100 milers from the states they always seem to have a back up crew, you had a van with peanuts and pretzels!!

I take my hat off to you both. I won't ever be doing that challenge, but I enjoyed watching.

Great video and a fantastic effort, especially in those conditions. Well done 👍🍷

Thanks Emlyn. They have changed the time of year of the race now so it's a little less of a mudfest!!

They have moved the date so it’s drier and less muddy so it’s a bit faster now.

Nice!! I think you captured the mud and wetness very well, now everyone can see just how mucky it really was and actually believe me when I point them to 4m38s! Yuck. Hope you recovered well after the race, I was on the bus back just in front of you, sorry if I snored, but I suspect you were equally zzzzzzz too!

We did get a buckle......which is traditional for a 100 miler

Enjoyed watching this. What type of watch GPS were you using as want something to record distance and pace and not use a lot of battery. Cheers Karl

Beautiful, too long for me, but ... beautiful.
@FilmMyRun6 жыл бұрын
Do you mean the race or the film?!! I actually agree with you about if you mean the film. I think I chose the wrong music which gets a bit repetitive after a while. But, it's done now.

Film My Run I found your depiction of the landscape beautiful. A traditional marathon is my maximum distance.
@JAHinHK6 жыл бұрын
You run the most beautiful races, but the weather is almost always shit. Is that just an England thing?
@FilmMyRun6 жыл бұрын
Yes. This one in particular. The ground was so wet and boggy it was not a pleasant run much of the time.
