Who cares if he confused an mri and an ultrasound. The doctor told him the arthritis is gone that’s what matters. As you said he may not have shown the mri because you can’t video tape in an mri room because of the magnets. What matters is Devon feels it has helped and the proof is in the pudding.

The US takes drugs seriously. There have been so many false claims for products that the FDA requires regulation on drugs. What the letter says is that Vitacell didn't apply for any drug approval. That is a bad thing.

You're getting to be quite the investigative journalist, Pradeep! I had warned Devon and others early on to check their licensing! For the most part, the worse thing that can arise from such specific treatments is a colossal waste of money. However, severe infections requiring hospitalization have also been known to occur. Their efficacy have not been established and such treatments must be considered experimental. I hope those who pay good, hard-earned money are told this upfront. I have to imagine they are asked to sign some type of waiver or consent form stating so. The letter cited by Pradeep is from the Food and Drug Administration, which is the ;primary United States federal regulatory agency responsible for protecting the public health by assuring the safety, efficacy, and security of human and veterinary drugs, biological products, etc. The letter claims that Vitacell Biologics, LLC, was using umbilical cord based products, which is considered to be a drug, for a use that they were not intended and that has not been approved, i.e., for the treatment of diseases or other conditions described by Devon and others. Moreover, their use of "exosomes" in this way is also not approved. In any event, to lawfully market any such drugs requires a valid license, which Vitacell Biologics, LLC did not have and could NOT have obtained in this case because these drugs have not been shown to be safe and effective for the type of use they were administering to their patients, i.e., the treatment of disease or conditions as described by Devon and others. In that case, they should have submitted an investigational new drug application, which they did not do either. The letter gave them 30 days to respond. Of course, we have no reason to believe that Devon or any other fighter was aware that Vitacell Biologics was not properly licensed. And it would only be fair to read how Vitacell Biologics LLC responded to the FDA's allegations - besides changing their name and website! It's interesting to note that with regard to exosomes, the FDA letter also referenced an advisory from 2019 that's still in effect and it states, in part: "There are currently no FDA-approved exosome products. Certain clinics across the country, including some that manufacture or market violative “stem cell” products, are now also offering exosome products to patients. They deceive patients with unsubstantiated claims about the potential for these products to prevent, treat or cure various diseases or conditions. They may claim that they these products do not fall under the regulatory provisions for drugs and biological products - that is simply untrue. As a general matter, exosomes used to treat diseases and conditions in humans are regulated as drugs and biological products under the Public Health Service Act and the Federal Food Drug and Cosmetic Act and are subject to premarket review and approval requirements. The clinics currently offering these products outside of FDA’s review process are taking advantage of patients and flouting federal statutes and FDA regulations. This ultimately puts at risk the very patients that these clinics claim to want to help, by either delaying treatment with legitimate and scientifically sound treatment options, or worse, posing harm to patients, as evidenced by these recent reports of adverse events." CAVEAT EMPTOR!

In MRI you can see much more than in ultrasound. Try for example to see knee ligaments or shoulder labrum in a ultrasound. Simply you cannot. Ultrasound is comparable to MRI for some purposes, but it is not at all the same exam. But it is true that sometimes ultrasound it is just enough and MRI is an overkill.

1) Yes, I also realized it was an ultrasound immediately as well. 2) I could care less about the error in nomenclature. 3) Devon posted the full diagnostic session in complete for his members only section 4) While an MRI (particularly a contrasted or paramagnetic agent assisted MRI, similar to the use of nucleornadiide contrasting in CT’s) is clearly a more potent diagnostic tool that allows granular resolution and fine physiological detail of these tissue types, depending on the actual MRI diagnostic technology/method used (real time low field vs traditional), it’s also *TYPICALLY* only showing static imagery as opposed to structure in motion, which can be observed with an ultrasound and potentially be more informative with a thoroughly trained diagnostician 5) The point of the exam/exercise was just to substantiate medically what Devon has been saying verbally for MANY months now. He feels incredible, as good as “original parts” Devon. That alone is huge, as severe tendonitis and/or arthritis are one of the major issues AW deal with that effects their ability to train at the level they desire to. Substantiating his “feeling” healthy with the medical diagnostic is just further evidence that his treatment has had incredible benefit. I’m not really sure what any of this noise is about. As far as what the FDA has to say or has said about Vitacell… that’s way too much of a can of worms to open for a youtube comment so I will opt only to say the following: Without getting into the particulars, one should know that the FDA has been a major impediment for these type of technologies being accessible to the broad population domestically, and by no means for reasons of safety or efficacy. There is A LOT of political and bureaucratic reasons behind this issue, so I would advise one to keep that in mind when evaluating anything coming from the FDA regarding cutting edge regenerative medicine.
