Both of those are great with their own quirks. In this video, I did not have time to compare Snyk with others. Adding comparison of those types of tools to my TODO list...

Snyk is developer friendly indeed. There is a similair tool for image scanning which is quay/clair. What do you think of it?

If all you need is image scanning, Clair is great. Snyk's scope is much wider.
