Earlier this week you had the scripture about women being subservient to men. Under them. This is ridiculous and antiquated. I was sorry to hear you read it.

I don't think you understand this verse. The Bible also teaches us to be submitted to one another. It's a 2 way street. It's not a situation where the woman is under a man's thumb, not at all. It's a sign of protection for the woman and likewise man is also submitted to God for the protection of the whole family. This is done thru love by both parties not by compulsion but by love. You can't make a blanket statement because of one word that you feel is outdated or antiquated. You need to understand the whole concept of positioning which brings safety and loving balance and protection for the woman, the man, and God.
