I would have to disagree. python has something called pygame which is pretty similar to scratch but with all the features of python like it's many libraries. Stuff like unity and other actual game engines give you a lot of tools but stuff and 3D which is a whole new thing and of course 3D stuff in a 2D program is impressive but it's just unnecessary work when we have a whole team of people working years on stuff like unity that they just give out for free. of course Scratch is just a beginner language and you can't expect to get much of anything out of it

I made a full fledged game on scratch once it was actually pretty great but it kept crashing scratch so I had to move it to turbo warp but Then I kept running into issues with cloning sprites (it would crash) so I used a scratch mod by sheep tester and it did surprisingly well. I use gms2 now because i got tired of having to hard code the camera movements and shakes but it’s still good for beginners.
