I have a Dewalt orbital sander but was wondering what i could use to sand painted architraves and skirtings and then remembered i have one of these multi tools , never used the sander on it but will definitely use it now after watching this , nice demo mate , subbed 👍

This would be great for doing the edges and the more detailed bits but I think a big wide area might be a bit soul destroying and quite difficult to maintain the same depth and level.

I just got the Dewalt brand sanding attachment. It’s convex with the points bent up more than slightly. Is this anyone else’s experience? I assumed it would be flat

Yes, I should think so. Although you might want to buy some different paper than the stuff that is supplied

Just get a rotary or 3” da polisher, same price but better. An you can use a foam or wool pad to get her shining with some metal polish

Maybe, but I wouldn't want to be using it on very large areas and not for a long period of time.

Biggest problem is the paper only stays attached for 5 min. Of sanding then the hook and loop give out
