Just need the 8.0 battery of the m18 drill. I use that for ice fishing you get more power out of it

I purchased the milwaukee mud mixer at Home depot on their clearance for only $99.99. I like the adjustable handle on the milwaukee and the speed control button. I use the 8.0ah battery and it works great. Now i don't mix as much as you do, but still it's a great mud mixer for my needs The DeWalt also looks good. I'm just not on the flexvolt line. Thanks for the video

Thats a great deal. Ya when I bought my kit it cost me the same as the dewalt kit so the dewalt beats it out by alittle as far a the battery goes. Both are great so like you said it comes down to what platform you already own etc.. stay safe brother thanks for watching

Hey! You forgot to mention a top factor in choosing a drill! Whats the $$$ price ? and what do you get for that price? A charger? A battery?

Try the Milwaukee 12amp batteries on the drill. Love the videos!

Mind you that the dewalt battery is a flexvolt, yes its 6Ah, but its 6Ah on 20V. The Dcd130 is 60V drill so the 6Ah Flexvolt battery is only 2Ah on 60V drill.. Thats is why the Dcd130 is superior because it uses 60V system. I use it on my 8" ice auger and it works great! No issue on 4' of solid ice.. the E-Clutch is a plus factor👍. Milwaukee is great too. But on this situation i agree dewalt is better.. 😁

Can a normal drill be use to mix compound??
@csdrywallhawaii
@csdrywallhawaii 4 жыл бұрын
Yes might take a bit longer but as long as the materials not to thick a regular hammer can do it in a pinch. I wouldn't use one as my daily since it will probably burn out faster since its not its intended use.

I bought mine locally it came with a second battery. It was a random deal, if you have the flex out platform its worth researching and hunting down to see. Regardless at 300 the dewalt is cheaper then what I paid for the Milwaukee set and has more power for various materials. Thanks for watching

That’s a 9 wat battery on the dewalt looked like you had a 5watt on the Milwaukee. Get the 8.0 hi output 12.0 hi output or the 9.0 high desmans that dewalt won’t touch it that Milwaukee

If you pause at 4:35 you can clearly see the Dewalt is using 6.0 ah battery... not a 9 ah battery. Dewalt also offers 9 and 12 ah batteries.

Dude the size of the battery has zero effect on the power of the tool🤦‍♂️ only how long you can use it for. Smh

@@jtotherog it does Milwaukee’s hi output give more power not the hi demand that’s used here out a hi output on any fuel tool and it gets it

@@bigbullet9224 then milwaukee is just playing you suckers. Have to buy a different battery just to get full potential out of my tools? Piss on that

The biggest problem I have when mixing is the brake, I hated the Milwaukee bc it would loosen the chuck on its own, and the secondary handle too. I loved the ergonomics but it was such a pain and the battery life was terrible. I could mix with my hammer drill and eat just as much battery. I also mix concrete fairly often, with the double box bit. I’ve done it with my hammer drills Milwaukee and Dewalt, but the big Milwaukee sucked for heavy compounds, it didn’t have good transmission for low grunt. What kind of drill should I get for heavy compounds and high torque applications? How does the Dewalt compare to the Milwaukee for low end torque? I felt my Milwaukee had no balls going slow it would just stall

I feel the dewalt is like a donkey kick compared to the milwaukee. Since there's no dial the trigger is a bit sensitive and just wants to go full blast it came handle the thick material but the battery life I'd shorter the thicker the material. If we're mixing to coat the battery last almost all day. If we're mixing cement we get about 6 buckets.

Wow I was a MILWAUKEE fan but 30 plus yrs ago they were tops cause they were US built now it’s all china crap I didn’t care for dewalt thought it was over rated guess not thanks for informative demo I think it’s mostly battery technology these days. I still use a 3/4 “ plug in Makita. My dad used the old milw. It weighed a ton. Hope your family is enjoying Mother’s Day
