I bought one that someone returned. Loved it so much, I bought 2 more to keep different bits in to keep from changing the tips out. Especially while doing electrical. Great for pocket holes too!

The only thing that i would change is being able to put the battery in one way. It would be neat if you could put it in either way or a mini slide battery. It would be more convenient. Great video!

I can see this being used by many trades. As a carpenter I would use it for demo prep work, cabinet hardware install, and small everyday things.

Folks, Just a clarification. When you press the trigger the noise you hear is the gyro running. I am pretty sure that the noise it makes is an unintended side effect. No cordless tool ever does anything unnecessary to run down the battery quicker. It is that internal gyroscope that makes it possible to detect rotation from any arbitrary starting point. I have this tool also. It took some getting used to after many years of experience releasing the trigger on other tools to avoid damage. Not necessary with this tool, precise control all the time, it is easy to slow up as you are nearing completion. This represents a huge improvement in in the Power Screwdriver IMO - all the control of a manual screwdriver, all the speed of a power screwdriver. I expect adoption will be slow, great for novices but a learning exercise needed for more experienced users of older products with muscle memory to override. This assertion seems consistent with some of the comments posted.

The DeWart screwdriver with conduit reamer is around $30 cheaper. It is very similar. I bought both partly because I wanted a couple extra batteries. The tool is basically free if you are thinking of getting extra batteries.

That's a nice little drill. Would be great for deep narrow places. Hey Dan you should put your TIA logo on the cones and sit them in your driveway.

Yea gotta say the 10 buck difference between the two different models seems kinda strange at the moment the only thing I can think of is the single battery kit will discount lower eventually. It's a no-brainer to buy the 2 battery kit. plus if they add more tools to this 8v line you can just buy the bare version when they come out. I see a lot of flashlights and diagnostic tools being released on this platform. Did you guys review the new Dewalt sub scanner yet? I can't remeber

You can get a impact driver for $99.00 or a conventional drill driver for that price.
@crinaandreea96405 жыл бұрын
the problem is not that, of course you can get more power, but its about aplication/aplicability. Poket screwdriver is not the same with drill driver, and sometimes you must have mobility and usability in tight spaces or diferent job situations, where you dont need bulk tools.
