Dewalt DEWALT DPG82 Safety Goggles Review

A quick review of the dewalt safety goggles. After using them for a year and a half, the lenses are very scratched up. I would not buy them again only because they don't seal on my face properly. If you have a smaller face/nose ( I am 6'4" and 185lbs) then I would definitely recommend them for construction and also shop wear.

Thanks for your review. Your one of the only people who has shown the DeWalt goggles worn with a typical 3M respirator mask. If there is crap in the air that is going to damage your eyes, the same crap is going to rip up your lungs.

Yes, reviews are way kind. it should get like 2 stars on amazon not near 5. Doesn't seal to me either and really annoying to feel the gap under the eyes rofl. Dewalt doesn't include optional padding for this very common problem.

Thank you for sharing! I was just about to purchase them before your vid. I have a big nose as well and they prob won’t work for me either. I never thought of that. I can see a clear gap in the seal. Im going to try the Milwaukee ones.

Hey thanks for the vid. I want to be able to use these with a dust respirator like you had... Did you find the goggles with the respirator was uncomfortable on your face and did one affect the other when you had both on? Meaning - did either of them shift around and not seal properly when you had both on? TIA.

I found the respirator held the goggles up a little bit at the nose, they are still wearable but not a perfect seal

I work out side in the winter, how where they with the mask on if I had my face covered

Glasses look protective. I really want the respirator at this time!

really?!! why dont you buy it and test with something dangerous like cutting something with angle grinder with a dead heart or shall i say a missing eye

Yeah, Have to keep mine so tight to get them to seal that it gets to be uncomfortable if they stay on for even 5 min..The Seal isn't Silicone, like you would think, it is a stiff rubber..Maybe time will soften the rubber a bit.

the most strange about this product actually the rating/review in amazon its blowing my head out i cant figure out till now how all these amount of positive rating/review for such a toy and its really fogging quickly in like 5mins so also i dont think it will protect from any flying tiny things whatever in straight way to the transparent material or as dust through the holes.. most of these rating/review must get modified to the real result thats not logic!!

He proves a good point though. The idea of this style is for concealment. I have a big nose as well and didn’t think of this. I also just had eye surgery so it’s a big deal for the tight seal in my case.

They are ok for light use but if your working fast or putting some elbow grease in there then these goggle are nothing but bollocks because they fog up like crazy..
