Had one for 3 years and wonder how on earth I managed on awkward, tight jobs before. Apart from the uses mentioned such as raking grout and silicone; there is also cutting through rusted toilet cistern to pan connecting bolts, undercutting architrave for fitting floor tiles (less time on intricate tile cuts) same for laminate flooring, cutting sections of leaking or pin-holed lead/copper pipe where a pipe slice or jnr hack can't get, etc etc. The blades are not cheap but neither is time and saves frustration, turning the air blue and skin stays on knuckles. (I know, I should wear gloves) An essential piece of kit.

Great review, very informative. I already own some Dewalt tools and I love them but I was on the fence about getting one of these as I wasn't sure I'd get much use out of it. I'm quite a small woman - and have small hands - so the ergonomic design is really important for me tbh. It really does more than I thought it did too, so I'll be getting one after seeing this. Thanks for that.

Good to know that it isnt overly ‘big’ and awkward for smaller hands and strength Shall buy one too
