It would be really nice if Dewar's India could show some more about the making of the song. The thing I really loved about Dewarists (especially in the first season) was the creative process and how the musicians who have rarely worked before, get along. Friendship, travel, inspiration and music all developed simultaneously. I miss that about Dewarists.

Rabindranath's poetry has always been inspirational. But, when its amalgamated with kashmiri context and philosophical approach, along with the beautiful duo of Papon and Santanu Moitra....it's magic. Loved the way its being composed and sung. Takes me another world. Thank you Dewarists.

It would have been interesting to see the local poets actually narrate few lines in the final song. Right now, the value addition of the local poets to the musical piece is not that evident. The artists just visit them, listen to their poems and come back. The inspiration from them does not seem to be integrated in the final piece.

that is not assamese. Thats bengali. Thats the poem that shantanu's poet friend translated for him.

Hey Kunal, yeah its an old Assamese song. It goes like "tumi janu, jana xun, kiman morom tumale, xasisilu gupone gupone". You can find the original on KZbin. Cheers mate!
