ok so I pumped this baby out JKSHJDGAWJGD OK oK uMM ok I'm very excited because this is very rare, it's a cover I pumped out just days after the original upload date and so far it don't sound like trash to me!!! omg this is great um I love this I love MARETU he just released an album omg guess who's wasting all their itunes cash hahdjkwahud
ok so let's talk about the song uwu this is all a mix of what I gathered through other videos and comment sections. the song is about an unwanted child, or one who feels useless. this is pretty obvious through some of the lyrics. ProjectAppend came up with some really great thought in the comment section of NAKANAKA's subbing, basically describing a hierarchy of the household, and parents being the equivalent to god. I'll link the video later but it was a really good read :p
a lot of people have thought it hints at uminaoshi a lot. so, imo, uminaoshi was about someone living a tragic life wanting to rebirth into a new life. if these two songs are tied together, than S.I.U is about the person who wanted to reincarnate. from 0:41 to 1:04, it sounds like an argument between two people, one who has authority and one who's seen as completely useless. there's also a few lines blatantly saying "why was this kid born?" so now my thoughts are that S.I.U is about the correlation between religion and an abusive household. the abusive parents must be worshiped and the abused must live for them and suffer under their reign. nice and dark heck yeah maretu

I love the use of Latin, though there is one factual error with your use. Hominum is the genitive plural of the noun, and what the word is actually saying while being used is "of the men" or "men's", which brings me to my next thing, hominum's root word is homò (a noun of the 3rd declension in Latin) which translates to "man" not human. Please don't take this as a hate comment, that is not my intention, I just want to spread my limited knowledge of Latin that I am currently learning.

Now knowing the english lyrics, I feel like I relate to some parts of this. "Mourning it's loss of the life lottery, but the arguements you're making, I'm afraid they're faulty" reminds me of when I tried to kill myself because of my father, and instead of helping me, he defended his actions and said that my reasons to kill myself were stupid. "That noisy you, that lying you, exaggerate the slightest abuse" reminds me of when my mother brought a knife in to a situation and kept yelling for me to kill her. When I told the police, they questioned her and she twisted it to make it seem like I was exxagerating the situation. "What shitty pleads" reminds me of when my father would get pissed off at 4 year old me and chase me in to a corner like I was some animal. He would raise his hand at me and if I didn't beg for him to not hit me, he would hit me. "For the needy you, that helpless you, dragging us down like mud on our shoes. This world is meant for hominun." reminds me of every time my stepmother would berate me for everything I do and would discourage me, leading me to feel like I'll never be good enough to please her [which is very upsetting to me since I'm a people pleaser] and that I'll never be anything in life. I hope you find someone that works well for you! something that helped my friend was seeing a neurologist- she said in regards to treatment, doing that was the best thing for her even above therapy. they took a scan of her brain and that was enough to get her access to antidepressants. if your depression or suicidal thoughts are severe and you feel that you might need medicine to regulate ya self, I’d recommend that as well, but therapy is a really good start. and if your home life is still harmful for you, I hope you can move out as soon as possible. good luck!!

hey, I don’t know you personally but I’m really sorry that you feel that way rn. I’ve been there before quite a few times, and I know it sounds generic but it really does get better with time. I toughed it out, and rn I’m pretty satisfied with life. I feel like it’s just that weird crisis that young people tend to get, but trust me, it’s not worth it to end it short. a few years ago, I honestly thought I’d be dead by now or I’d be alone forever. but I had some support from friends, and I made a ton of new ones and I put time into my passions, and things are a lot brighter. I don’t know your situation or what’s gonna help you personally, but life can be really amazing if you give it a chance. honestly it’s a really shitty time to live in for us, young people especially are depressed now more than ever, and it feels like the world’s going to shit. but if you take in less at a time and just focus on the little things, that can really help the processing of a whole bunch of shit. put time into the things that make you happy! never hesitate to ask for help when you need it. trust me, there’s people who will drop everything for you if you open up to them. your family wouldn’t hesitate to save you because they care about you and your life. that’s a bunch of people already that care. I hope you have a group of good friends too, and I can’t be sure, but if they’re real friends they’ll offer all their support, and if not, they don’t deserve you. and if there’s no one you feel you can turn to, try opening up to a good teacher! my school is really tiny so we’re all close, but you’re bound to have a teacher or some other adult that’s gonna listen to you. if things are really severe, seeking a neurologist if you’re able to can get straight to any visible mental issues you have in your brain and they can get you on antidepressants pretty quickly, and if not you should consider seeking a therapist if you don’t have one already. I never liked therapy personally but it’s a pretty common thing, so it may work for you too! I know I’m just a stranger on le internet and I can’t ever know exactly what you’re going through, but I feel like life is valuable, and there’s always another option besides suicide. please please don’t be afraid to ask for help from people you know, the true friends and family will support you and someday you’ll be outta this ❤️❤️❤️

Poke Emblem the perspective changes throughout the entire song, I think! the first part where Gumi’s introduced and she and DEX are kinda talking back and forth, her part is sort of sung as a victim and DEX as the powerful, abusive role. but throughout the rest of the song, I feel like she’s kind of a neutral narrator, or one siding against the victim at times. that’s why I wanted to make a duet cover, bc the perspective of the song seems to change so much even though Miku was the only original singer. DEX definitely does do a lot of berating throughout, so you were right on that, but I feel like Gumi’s role is very flexible depending on the parts,, aaaa idk it’s a lil complicated lol

"That noisy you exaggerating the slightest abuse" that kinda reminds me of my mom cause when I was younger she spanked me hard and while doing it she laughed but now she was gets onto me for the slightest things like using the bathroom for to long and even going to the bathroom and she traps me in my house and doesn't let me do fun stuff cause it annoys her all i can do is get on my phone it's kinda boring and it gets lonely
