I have Tabs6lite and an an hdmi to usbc convertor. In your video it showed u can't connect display Tabs6lite using DEX but can display on tablet mode, however I am unable to display Tabs6lite on tablet mode.

Tab s6 lite 2022 - crippled usbc is usb 2.0. No usb to hdmi and No wireless dex. screen mirroring with miracast only.

You can use any casting app, Smart View and cast the screen. The GPU doesn't support HDMI out in this case.

See, THIS is why I got the Tab s6 instead of the Tab s6 Lite. The only challenge is I'm finding that there are more accessories out there for the Tab s6 Lite than for the Tab s6. It was hard to find a good protective case for my tablet for some time.

DeX needs USB type 3.1 to work...tab s6 lite probably does not have it. It still can use wireless DeX, that i wish it can work on my Galaxy Note 10 lite as well someday

It doesn't support wireless Dex as well. Workaround is to use a third party screen cast app.

Just install samsung flow on both tablet & pc. It can mirror your tablet to pc easily. Also useful for transfering data. Can use it for projector too, by just connect the pc/laptop to the projector.

They used usb 2.0 to cut the cost. It's only $500 so that's expected. You can use screen mirroring apps tho but the resolution would be different.

@@triblemasterdumbass it's better to remove usb 3.0 to cut down the cost than to compromise the important aspects just to lessen the price. For example do you want a tablet with usb 3.0 but very small battery, worse screen resolution or worse processor. Or vice versa? And tab s6 lite was not even originally planned to have a samsung dex so of course they opt for 2.0 during the manufacturing process. Just be thankful enough that they found a way to include samsung dex despite tab s6 lite specs being a midranger. And it's $300 btw (typo from the first reply) and that's really pretty cheap. They've used the unused components for the price to go down so don't demand for too much.

BUY A MHL adaptator and it will work. The MHL works even with a low tier phone, because it has a inbeded micriship and an dedicated app.

This simply is not true. There's no embedded "app" in a MHL connector. It MIGHT be an active MHL dongle where it provides enough power via another USB connection, but no, OEM ports without the right USB protocol via chipset, will not suddenly be capable of outputting video through it

Also, although there is an updated spec called Super MHL which uses USB-C, I have yet to find a device which is supported by it. Typical MHL adapters are made for active/passive MHL capable micro-USB ports
