Anyone who suffers from self loathing can relate to this song 100% especially when trying to change who you are to become a better individual.
@kaiserbrutus7303 жыл бұрын
Well....the truth is to keep striving to be a better version of yourself but definitely don't change yourself just to please those losers that could care less of your well being. Why try to please them when a simple respect is already too much to ask from them? True friends are supposed to be supportive towards you when you're at your downs and ups. If they can't even respect you, don't expect them to be supportive etc. Hanging around with those haters and toxic people and trying to please them is basically wasting your time and energy. You're better off spending those time and energy finding someone else who's better suited to be your companion.

@@kaiserbrutus730 The OP is talking about dwelling in your own SELF PITY. He isn't talking about other's not accepting who they are lol. And a good friend will let you know that dwelling in your own sadness and pitying yourself instead of trying to put the effort in to change isn't good for you either. Sometimes the truth hurts but you NEED to hear it...if your one of those people that can't take criticism for the better and get's angry or upset about it then it will be extremely tough for you to figure out what you need to change. Nobody is being a hater by giving you constructive criticism on what THEY see coming from somebody.

Self hatred is a defense mechanism that’s born from psychological laziness. It’s easier to hate yourself than to actually face and change yourself. It’s the easy choice and a twisted rationalization for any poor choices a person wants to make. It’s impossible to hate yourself and no one actually does, it’s a virus and self-deception on the surface level ego.
Thanks to all musicians for making life better! I know from my own experience that life can get tough, but if you listen to good songs you can get through it and keep going. Made some playlists for many moments in life. Come listen to them and leave me your opinion. I'm getting started. Thanks

I just heard about this band a couple days ago and I'm floored. The riffs, the guitar and drum tones, the production, and the VOCALS! In-your-face aggressive and yet beautiful. I can't say enough good things about this song.

The rest of the metalcore bands: We do good breakdowns. Dexcore: . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
I seriously don’t know what’s happening. This song has such an EPIC sound to it. Truly standing above the rest with this track. It’s intense and heavy while keeping contrast with its beautiful side. Truthfully I feel this is one of those masterpieces that stand apart from all others. I wish only for your success, hopefully the world may be exposed to your marvel!

I think this is about disliking one's self to the point where you'd rather almost just become someone else then face your own self anymore. It's that true self loathe and disgust that one must battle with.

Self-Hatred That's the illness suffers me Self-Hatred The devil still won't let me go I told you before The thing I hate the most That's "ME" Tell me how to overcome Doctor?Teacher?friends? I don't want to talk about it See?As soon as I start talking you Ignore too It's too late I would rather die I'm tired of this kind of words It's too late I don't even want to sing anymore I was almost over almost died many times But I'm baraly alive So I decided to be a different person Not sure it's right That made me want to see myself in the past I just wanted relief I'm that kind of a guy Will I make it? I can see you Tell me who you are Tell me your fucking name You took my heart and don't let go But for what reason, it isn‘t painful It isn't painful Each time I become unable to know Who I am,what I want to do Maybe I don't have to be strong I don't forget myself I decided to be a different person Not sure it's right That made me want to see myself in the past I just wanted relief I'm that kind of a guy Will I make it? I can see you Scratched my heart and all I got was lonelliness The old me is disappearing This is my worth This is my worth I'm myself Don't forget Come back here again before it fades away What do you want from me You asked me someday I knew the answer long ago I just wanted relief I'm that kind of a guy I decided to be a different person Not sure it's right That made me want to see myself in the past I just wanted relief I'm that kind of a guy Will I make it? I can see you Self-Hatred Today I met who I used to be yesterday Hated him unconsciously Everyday Little by little I decided to be a different person Not sure it's right That made me want to see myself in the past I just wanted relief I'm that kind of a guy Will I make it?
