Aaaaand good morning to you as well, sir. For the rapid fire vocal/drum thing about 1/3rd-in : I think they took the triggers from the drum-hits and fed it to a very fast gain control on the vocals, clamping the vocal amplitude down for a couple milliseconds then releasing it up to the normal levels. The outcome is a tiny gap in the vocals right as the drum hits, then the gate opens up and allows the vocal line to come through. Coll thing is, if the feed the drum triggers to a system like Protools/then to the mixing board, they could do that live in a convincing manner. It's just simple real time analog gating, but it sounds very nice. Cool song. Good Morning Tauri... I am certainly awake now. ... tho my self image is sullied just a touch.... as I am apparently a f***ing pice of s**t. ( LOL, since I'm a rural dentist and I get to break bad news to oral-health-deniers on a daily basis, it takes a bit more than this to bring on the shock, self-doubt, and self-depricating feels.)

Believe it or not, this is their version of easy listening. No really. Seriously though I appreciate they can be so savage and have that groove and melody. Probably my favorite from them. Great reaction!

Japanese vocalists are next level X 10. Dexcore, Jiluka, Dimlim, and Nazare are just 4 to get into. The best thing is they sell it, they put their heart into the song, not just singing a song. Of course Dir en grey inspired all of them. Kyo the granddaddy of the mixed vocal and the most luscious cleans. Dig deep. There's lots to be found.
