I've had this argument so many times before, but I just Simp is a much more impressive player. The gunskill of both of them is comparable, but Simp is just on another level as an all around player. His in game decision making is perfect, he can play slow or fast depending on situation. Abezy is much more one note. The biggest decider for me in the whole Simp vs Abezy debate is Blops 4. That to me just highlighted that Simp is the more talented player, you could make the argument that Abezy was equal or better the last 2 years(I would still argue against it) but it was not arguable in Blops 4. And Blops 4 definitely had the highest skill requirement, beaming with a 74u or mp5 is one thing, but nobody could use the Saug the same way Simp did. The kid literally changed the Saug meta to no grip.

I'm just confused why they are talking about his prize money won over 8 tourney wins like that means anything, when scump had 29 tourney wins and still got passed. They coulda left that out because it's completely irrelevant. All it says is cod players weren't paid very much back then and simp joined the league at a better time.
