These pianos sound incredible!! A total game changer!

I love my Vivo S7 - I had agonized over the purchase - it is so fun to play and (in particular) the piano sounds are really great.

Thanks to you I have been research these Dexibells and have purchased a Classico and Combo J7 --- and am ordering a P3.

the classico must be a joy to play. I can only think of all the possibilities when pairing it up to other gear.

Hi Chuck, how does the piano compare to the Kronos German Grand ? Thanks!
@MostEasterlySteve7 жыл бұрын
I've played one three times now. I'm impressed. Not perfect but certainly a contender. I can't believe they don't supply a pedal with it. I think that's unusual these days. Chuck, great to see you back and recovering. Two points though...stop jabbing the buttons so hard (!) and the audio is mono for some reason despite there being L & R out cables visible in the video. The nice Dexibell sound can't be judged in mono.

The mic was mounted just inches above those switches - makes it sound artificially loud!

Those deficiencies are extraordinarily minor and to me two of them are advantages. They are trivial - but glad you gave a balanced perspective because if those are the only things you don't like, it is terrific.

Chuck I know you like the Kawai mp7. How would you compare these 2 boards?

Hey chuck, looking for a new keyboard mostly for personal playing. I'm between this or a sv1, which one do you find more satisfaction and "fun"?

Hey, if you're interested in the SV1 you should look up some problems people are having with it. The sound is great, but there are forum posts and videos online about people have issues with broken keys. It seems to be a hit or miss kind of thing, so you could give it a shot, but I thought you'd like to know.

Amazing overview, Thanks! I am stuck between buying this (P7) or the Kawai ES8 as they are the same price in Britain.
@jaybee68246 жыл бұрын
the dexibell soundwise knocks the ES8 into a cocked hat. It feels and plays like a real instrument and shows the Kawai up for the toy that it is
@ItsThatJahncke26 жыл бұрын
Julian Baker Hmm Kawai for the toy that it is.. well he can always go for the MP 11se with it's superb build quality and beautifully crafted Grand feel wooden keys. Par that up with Ravenscroft275 piano software and now you have best of both worlds with best key action and sound for a price point that you can't beat.

For the begining, thank you very much for your rapid answer. I intend to detaliate. In some way i like havian 30 more than casio px 560 but i don´t have a local retailer to try them. With dexibell I am in love but need to invest more. My question now is. If i buy the ipad will i reach the Havian 30 capabilities?(reach the havian 30 capabilities in sequencer ) . Although I can buy Havian 30, is posible that they don´t offer any tehnical support?
@CedricMialaret6 жыл бұрын
Chuck, could you please sort all the digital pianos you have tried by how noisy their keyboard action is ? In my experience, Casio PX are very noisy, and the Kawai are noisier than the Yamahas. This Dexibell does sound noisy too, or is it the mic placement ?

HI . I wish to buy an instrument to replace my old m-audio piano, and I am hesitating between Casio px 560 , Korg havian 30 and Dexibell S7 pro. I know that dexibell doesn´t have sequencer capabilities. Xmure can provide that, or is not the same, beacause for using it i need to buy also an ipad. what is your recomandation ? Thank you for your answer.
@PianoManChuck5 жыл бұрын
Its my policy to never make personal recommendations. However, the Havian 30 is discontinued, and according to your own statement the Dexibell S7 would also have you purchasing an iPad. That leaves the PX560. But the ONLY way to know what's going to work for you is to get to your local retailer and try them all out for yourself.

Your best bet is to post your questions about this on one of the popular keyboard forums. Try posting on forums.musicplayer.com in the forum labeled "the keyboard corner".

Hey PMC, I'm wondering what the difference is between this and the newer S7 Pro (besides at least $500) and if you are planning to review that...
Hello, the keyboard is fatar tp/40 m with 85g weight on each key and the action is not graded hammer! Which is absolutely odd for a stage PIANO!

Does any one know when S9 will be available and differences with S7?

What a shame the Vivo P7 doens't have "Ivory feel" i don't get that, all the 88 key's versions have except the P7.
@PianoManChuck7 жыл бұрын
I believe the P7 uses the Fatar TP100 key action, as opposed to the TP40 used in the S7. Most likely to save on weight because its a portable unit (amp & speakers of the P7 already take up weight).

The keys of the Dexibell Vivo S7 seem noisy. What's your impression ? Polyphony largely looks like a marketing gimmick to me. I would love to get a list of/ hear classic pieces/well known musics played, that would show the limits of 64/128/192/256 polyphony.
@PianoManChuck7 жыл бұрын
The mic was just a few inches above the keys - of course it'll pick that up and it will sound louder than usual (your ears would be a lot farther from the keys than those mics).
@josephchildress35355 жыл бұрын
I have a Korg pa800 and other than the soprano sound I’m not impressed with the other vocals.
