Dexter would be at first. And Hannibal for sure would be curious to have been able to have a therapy session/meal with Dexter. But where as Will because his empathy disorder allows him to view things from Hannibal point of view. Is regularly conflicted to the point where he can at depending on the time accept Hannibal for who he is. Dexter who would be initially curious. But within a short time look at Hannibal as a bigger evil than Trinity who in a shorter time has a much higher B count. Unless Dexter decided to switch gears and use guns. The only chance he might have would have been a 1 one 1 fight. Like the one Jack had with Hannibal in season 3. That only worked because Jack for the first time in his life was willing to fight dirty.

@@RevengeMorgan I said as much that his only chance would be 1 on 1. Still it would be close, unlike Hannibal, Dexter feels pain. Hannibal even as a child showed signs that he had either limited pain receptors or a remarkable control over them. He has been trained in several martial arts by his aunt. In the books he is also freakishly strong shown to be able to lift twice his own bodyweight. If we just go with the show version he still is a proficient fighter. Hand to hand combat Dexter might have a slight edge, if they use any kind of weapons' like knives or swords I'd give Lecter the edge. They are the closest match where I can buy both of them winning and not feeling like you would have to cheat and give one some sort of cheating edge.

Dexter and Hannibal would be like an insane psychiatrist-patient combo. We know Dexter needs someone to confide his dark passenger to, but struggles in finding someone as psychotic as him. Hannibal ticks every box on Dexter's "codes for friendship". Imagine Dexter catching his victims and then Hannibal cooking them for a meal 😭☠

I agree. Jigsaw/John Kramer k!lls people for minor offenses whereas Dexter only k!lls people for serious, major offenses. Their codes are not the same.

Nah, Jigsaw is going on the table. He does have a code, but they're not similar. Also, Jigsaw strays from his code all the time. Like, more than he actually follows it. Even if he did, he goes after prrfectly innocent people who "didn't kiss their wife last night" or things as banal as that.

Yeah there is no way Dexter would have thought Jigsaw was even close to Harry's code. We know that Jigsaw does go after criminals, or very corrupt people who have hurt others. But they are by no means his main targets. He targeted Amanda because she was an addict and the way she survived was by getting the key that was sewn into the dealer. For a guy who claims to give everyone a fair chance how was the dealer supposed to be given a chance? That was an either or situation where it was based on choice, not fair chance for every party involved.

Only way Dexter will fail is if Barry's luck takes effect against Dexter. It could end up like Dexter x Trinity killer. He meets Barry to get to know him more and realized that he is also struggling to appear normal and takes acting as well to improve "faking his feelings".

Yea i mean he did beat Doakes which we see him as a Black ops guy and one of their best. and when doakes found dexter with a body, dexter managed to get doakes while doakes had a Gun... and dexter was HANDCUFFED.. yea i think people are not realizing how great dexter is at fighting. he will def beat anyone there in a hand-to-hand fight

The smartest of them is Hannibal and even he has lots of evidence in his house. If he was not eating them, then Dexter will have a harder time. The rest are just working with too much luck leaving around so much evidence for Dexter to easily satisfy his code. Dexter won't even need a full day to prove they are all killers and deserve to be in his table and he will get all of them. Compared to how Dexter was written, these guys looks like amature killers. I think the more interesting thing would be if Dexter randomly meets them, which ones will he identify as killers that he'd need to further check out. With that I think he would have the hardest time identifying Barry.

Firstly Dexter would have to "see" Hannibal. He is so immaculately hidden that Dex wont even notice him. And the only real chance he would have getting at Hannibal is if he completely ambushes him. But should he make contact with Hannibal, Hannibal would sniff him out so quick like a soiled diaper and I would give Hannibal the upper hand. Not to mention, Dexter is more of a brute where as Hannibal if given the chance would manipulate Dexter first, the have Dexter join him for a meal...if you know you know lol

Dexter vs hannibal would be an interesting one First, theyre both highly intelligent but Hannibal has another level of control. We all know dexter is fascinated by psychopaths who stay in control, He would see Hannibal like the trinity and try to learn. Remember when dexter faced Meridian. He was impressed and almost got carried away. Hannibal would have controlled dexter by talking and tapping into dexters childhood. Plus Dexter killed meridian face to face. Hannibal has superior martial arts background. If hannibal developed fascination with dexter, just like his relationship with Will graham. But we all know he still has control over dexter

But more careful and does not keep that much evidence in his house/apartment. If Doakes were to meet Hannibal, he'd immediately give him the creeps more than Dexter and would be more sure there is really something wrong with him.

The thing with Dexter is nobody knows who he is and when he's inside your house about to tranquilize you, most of the people he's going after have no clue there's anybody going after them and in my opinion he would no doubt be able to kill any one of these people as long as it's not a trinity killer situation where he gets really close to the killer and they have an actual relationship and know each other exist. if he's just doing his usual kill routine of gather evidence make a kill room and come in when they're alone and distracted he could get anybody on this list, even the fiercest serial killers like Hannibal sometimes are distracted by things where they cant constantly look over their shoulder or be completely aware of everything in their surroundings like looking a computer, washing their hands, or even sleeping. Dexter only needs one moment to inject his tranquilizer and his victim wont even realize what's going on until they wake up on his table tied down with plastic wrap

Personally I think dexter might go after john kramer because although he's similar to dexter in who he chooses to be his victims there are times where he or his subordinates go after people who would not fit his code as kramers thing is all about people not valuing life so he messes with people who haven't done much bad like the detectives kid in the 2nd movie, he also goes after drug addicts who although are druggies probably don't deserve to die painfully because of that so I feel like john muddies the line a bit too much for dexter to tolerate. Later on of course this isn't kramer as he's dead but there are definitely some victims who dexter wouldn't tolerate like the wife of the writer who faked being in a previous saw trap, she had no clue what was going on and got basically a modern day rendition of the iron horse.

Jigsaws philosophy is not actually punishing and stopping criminals. The difference between Dexter and Jigsaw is that Jigsaw allows those who did bad to "redeem" themselves by making a "choice" (I know its inconsistent in the movies but this is the idea). While Dexter has an impulse to kill and he justifies his killings because of his code (also not always consistent but once again the main idea).

3:58 Dexter would almost definitely be more experienced in hand to hand combat than Barry, definitely compared to the average soldier who will probably never get into such a situation. As a soldier myself and also having many soldier friends, we were barely taught in training martial arts despite our country creating a martial art specifically for it, for the simple reason almost every such encounter immediately ends when a weapon is introduced. Compare that to dexter, who thanks to his massive kill count, with not all of them being as smooth and sneaky, has definitely seen more combat training and experience than the average soldier. That one easily goes to him

I’d give dexter like a 20 percent chance of beating Hannibal in an all out fight. But I doubt he’d be able to pin him down without actually becoming a patient. And if he does that, he’s putting himself at a real disadvantage.

Hannibal would run circles around Dexter unfortunately, the guy trolled the FBI and a genius (Will Graham) for 2 whole seasons just to leave them wrecked and waltzed over to Europe after he was bored. In a straight hand to hand, I could see Dexter taking it but it'd be close but that's if it ever even gotten to that point and Hannibal doesn't troll him into oblivion.

there's no chance barry would beat dexter in close combat. just take a look at marines fighting trained mixed martial art fighters. marines are no were as skilled and always get beat...and Dexter has studied "advanced jiu jitsu" in college. which leads me to believe he at least has a purple belt.
