Watching an organized and calculating Dexter make so many mistakes during his early years is so much fun to watch and not to mention the evolution of Harry's relationship with Laura as well as Dexter is also an interesting sub plot.

Fun Fact: The Hitman is played by Joe Pantoliano, who plays Ralph Cifaretto in the Sopranos. Having him return as a mafia hitman in Dexter: OS in Miama, Fl was a great decision.

It's next week on January 3rd 2025. January will have one week where an episode won't air and that's the 17th. Episode 7 will air on January 24th instead. Then there will be 3 episodes after that, leading upto and including the finale on February 14th. Dexter: Resurrection will then be on in the summer and the date should be confirmed by February.

EP 4 was class, the flashback of Dexter & Brian are bittersweet wholesome, I enjoy watching the actress who plays Laura Moser in the flashbacks, < she’s doing great, I really hope they redo the “Born in Blood” this SZN as the recent flashbacks have been phenomenal 🤩, & incude Laura Moser death scene & have Christian Slater witnesses it the bloody aftermath…. 👀💯 EP 5 looks intense & it’s giving me Freebo vibes when the Dexter killed Oscar in S3 & the police were everywhere… Dexter obviously gonna be experimenting with M99 next EP as we see the needles, I think he’s gonna end up killing judge powell’s son killer in the final as it’s gotta be big kill for the finale & we gotta see him involve into the monster we know & love and see his dark passenger grow 🔪🩸🫶🏻

One things for sure Showtime does not want to let Dexter go. We have the origonal which was excellent! Then there's one after now a prequel. Watched the first episode and it did not blow my skirt up. Only watched because of Derek and Buffy.

They are changing a lot in these series. In original show Dex was already using sedative syringe when he killed nurse Mary. They also are heading towards speeding up kill count, in original show Dex only had 4 kills before Harry's death. And then of course replacing Tom Matthews with Aaron Specer, what;s up with that change?

Yeah they are. But not using the sedative yet makes sense. How did he get access to it? Maybe original series was his distorted memory and original sin is how it actually happened, since we see other pov. I am hoping matthews is going to be some big reveal. He is head of some other department.

@AniketPatil-nk1vw I actually like the change with the sedative, it makes sense that in this series they want to show him learning things, soon we'll see how he got the idea to get rid of the bodies from the boat. It's also fun to see his smaller and bigger f*ck ups. The fact that they had to speed up his kill count to make this series more interesting is a good change too. It's still possible that Aaron Spencer isn't there instead of Matthews, maybe LaGuerta is going to spin some intrigue to push him out of his job, and Matthews comes in his place, who knows. There are still 6 episodes left. But the fact that Aaron dislikes LaGuerta from the start fits Matthews long time feud with Maria and he is good friends with Harry.
