Dexter better play possum and must inform Harry as he’s more experienced close to Spencer and perhaps might get intel to bring down Spencer All of this could end badly maybe Harry’s death maybe Spencer’s too a tragedy in the Morgan’s family pushing Debs to join the force !!! Dexter needs a good plan more reconnaissance and good place to dump a Captain of Miami PD not some crook junkie or anybody !!!

All the evidence and mind mappings of events seems poorly placed, I get it its a show but,: 1. why an experienced captain of Miami metro police station send his own son severed finger in a box, 2. also the alibi seems off, Tanya and spancer also didn't show up at the disposing alligator alley where they found the arm with the ring. 3. Spencer wasn't injured the day of the box arriving mysteriously at the station, he was injured the day after. 4. Blood results show the a match which mean either its the boy own blood or someone related to him and dexter said could be anyone with the same blood type. 5. My money is on the classic policing rather than physical evidence ballshit which can be planted and fabricated. 6.So motive and alibi. Why would the captain kill his own son and where he was that night. Its simple as that

anyone with the same blood type, exactly - not necessarily someone related. There's still the possibility that Nikki isn't Spencers biological son, his wife had an affair for 14 years, after all, and the boy is like what, ten? twelve years old?

@_snowqueen agreed. It seems that back in that time, they didn't have access to DNA testing using blood samples, they could only identify blood types, and those don't necessarily infer family relations
